Luke just missed the team... London Fletcher got the last ILB with 7 votes, while Luke was the 1st one out with 5 votes.

Tolbert and CJ were the only other Panthers receiving a vote

Also recieving a vote was former Panther Reggie Nelson.

People like to say ALL-PRO is better than Pro Bowl because Writer vote>fan vote. However the favoritism shown by writers is just as biased if not more. Tony Gonzalez had equal numbers to all the other frontrunning TEs and he ran away with the vote. Probably because he gives good interviews, is a vet, likable guy, etc....

Or maybe it's because gonzalez is the only one who is actually on a good team. When it comes to awards, when all else is similar go with the winner.

    • I understand why people say things like it could be worse in relation to Tepper but it just doesn't jive for me. Are the optics bad? Yes. Would I want her to be the owner of my team? No. But I mean she's only been owner for a year and the Colts overall are a better run organization. As far as I know they've also never had the distinction of having the worst win percentage in all of professional sports either. Tepper has owned this team for 8 years and about the only thing that has been consistent has been the ability to continue to find different ways to achieve new lows. Even now people are saying things are different yada yada but we said these same things at certain points under Rhule Fitterer and Reich. I'm going to wait to see how the rubber meets the road this upcoming season before I make any strong conclusions about anything in relation to the longevity under this franchise going forward.
    • This is a toughie because I wonder what a guy like Canales thinks about redemption stories for addiction issues. Also, I think this is a case of 1 player getting caught, and not being naive enough to think this isn't more common in college than we think. I'd toss a 3rd rounder out there. 2026 is essentially a redshirt season regardless, so he's not taking over for any NFL QB next year. Best case, he's ready to go in 2027 if we pass on Bryce's extension. Worst case, he's our future backup QB2. Kid has the tools to be an NFL QB. I do think we could somehow land a '26 3rd round pick back in a trade. Our past years' third rounders are: Brazzell Princely Wallace DJ Johnson Matt Corral All this to say, I could see a team like the Jets going w/ a 2nd. They have three FRPs next year.
    • Alright man! We're here for it! Just glad you're keeping the doors open!
