I put Jackson as my 1a to Whiz's 1b based solely on experience. Ken was an OC for 2 seasons and went right into a HC job, much like Chud. I don't think he had enough time as an OC to fully develop a philosophy and get so in depth that it became second nature what works and what doesn't. Hue has seven years as an OC under his belt in all kinds of teams both NFL and college, as well as position coaching jobs for everything under the sun for the past 30 years almost.

I would be equally happy with either or Norv.

Actually Whiz was the OC for the Steelers 3 years, played 8 years in the league and was a tight end coach in the NFl for a total of 6 years so he has plenty of experience me thinks.

These are all terrible names.

Yeah especially Shurmur. He was the OC for the 2009 rams who got blanked twice and scored 10 or less points 7 other times. I hope that is a baseless rumor

The Shurmor rumor has to be a joke, or just due diligence at the most. This team s a horrible fit for a WCO and I don't think he's ever ran anything else.

Really starting to like Jackson less and less. He done nothing in his career to show he's capable of developing a modern NFL offense. Is it possible he'll be able to? Sure, but with Whisenhunt on the board, he showed during his time in Zona that he is for with building a team that prides itself on the pass.

Turner is obviously the dream, but nothing to suggest we've made a move so far.

Being a position coach has nothing to do with management. What I worry about is that his time as an OC and a HC shows he's nothing more than a relic who wants to run the football instead of continuing to develop Cam into an elite passing QB that is the basis behind our success.

both whis and hue are pretty adaptable to what they have. i think jackson is more aggressive and whis is more progressive. I'd like a blend of both. honestly I'd be fine with either.

balance between the run and the pass is crucial, tho, whatever direction we go.
