I think NFL hates panthers

after years of having top of the list hard schedules i developed a theory that the NLF doesnt want the panthers to succeed. And now I go to nfl sites and all the talk is about AP and RG3...cant even find a mention of luke without digging..

its confirmed.. they dont want us to succeed. LOL

not my only b#%ch im not sure that manning deserved the CPOTY more than TD did... its just that simple. the man had three surgeries on THE SAME KNEE!. they hacked into his other knee to get material for the bad one (i think thats right) AND he hadnt played in HOW LONG? gtfo ...manning is just a name.. thats the only reason he got it. on that same token he DAMN SURE didnt deserve it more than AP.

1st off we play on a rotating schedule that is predetermined, only 2 games a year are based off of our record for the previous year.

I think TD deserved to win in any year but this past year. Manning had 6 neck surgeries. I rather have a bad knee then a bad neck.

Also we have had a ROY and now a DROY in back to back seasons.

Well AP almost broke the single season rushing record this year after blowing up his knee, RG3 and the Skins had a hellova year as did the Vikings.

The Panthers in primetime week 3 shyt the bed 36-7 while all America was watching.

By the time the Panthers beat the Eagles under the lights the Panthers were 2-8, very impressive.

America doesn't like losers and they don't draw ratings to TV or the internets.

Respect is earned in this league and the Panthers are a boring story for the last few years so what would you expect?

Dont suck and people will talk about you.

i agree completely. but that said.. how much playing time did TD miss in the last 3 years.. put someone on the bench that long and normally their talent level suffers.. if we would have had a winning season, made it to the playoffs, TD would have gotten it.

    • This is a good story--I LOVED his dad as a person and player--I talked to him at an OTA (he was back for his second stint) and he was talking about Moore (the WR from Wake Forest) being so young.  I was with my teenage son and told him, "This is Taylor.  He and I attended the OTAs when you were in Rock Hill as a rookie."  He jokes, "Was he in diapers then?" and laughed.  I imagine Moose III was in diapers when we chatted that day.  So I really would love for this to work out.  However, his stats do not suggest he was anything special in college.
    • I guess there are signs. The combination of the turf toe, hamstring, and knee issues led to questions about his long-term health and affected his draft stock, causing him to fall to the second round.  Here is what I know about a knee injury.  It changes nearly every aspect of your lower body movement.  So the turf toe and hamstring could be related.  It makes him seem injury prone.  I guess the knee was not the most recent injury, so the others could have been a result of favoring the knee. Johnson did not run the 40 at the combine or pro day.  That suggests there is something he feels might drop his value.  So if you downplay the severity of the injury, have a history of possibly related injuries, and refuse to demonstrate (when given multiple opportunities) that you are fully recovered, don't get mad when your stock drops.
    • I saw numerous reports leading up to the draft that he'd been injury red flagged by numerous teams due to cartilage damage and wear issues that they think could shorten his career.
