Davis didn't do enough to get himself released. Young is not only about to do just that. He's actively trying to make it happen. And despite his talent, the Lions (not exactly a team that can easily afford to let talented players walk) are ready to oblige him.

This guy's got more red flags than China at this point.

He may get a chance to "grow up" somewhere. He may also go somewhere, make an ass of himself again and be out on the street again. Looking at him now, option two looks way more likely.

SF was not under scope like Dtown and again when Singletary went off there was no twitter for Davis to run off too. what better place for a LA kid who has a troubled past in the NFL with teammates/coaches to come to learn from someone who was in that same boat.you keep saying he quit on the field and lined up wrong, but we applaud smitty for wrestling CBs and getting flagged for doing stupid crap.

Can't recall seeing people applaud Smith for getting penalized. People applaud him for not taking any crap, but not for when he gets himself in trouble (which he doesn't honestly do that much anymore).

But do you really not see a difference between being a fiery competitor on the field and deliberately sabotaging your own team? Really? :unsure:

Rams coach Jeff Fisher did not get into specifics when discussing why the team waived WR Titus Young on Friday.

"We spent probably four or five days with him," said Fisher. "At the end of the interview process, we decided it was best for us to go another direction. Perhaps Titus is better suited for another organization." Fisher did say the Rams put Young through an "extended interview process." Unsurprisingly, Young's interviews were unimpressive. He's likely to clear waivers now.
