1. Pick the Best (hottest) cheerleaders instead of the ones that dance the best. I mean who really cares if they are all in step, as long as they are pretty and are up there shaking stuff.

2. Win to keep opposing fans out of the stadium on gameday.

3. Try to restructure everyone before cutting them.

4. Do everything in their power to get a Superbowl in Charlotte.

5. Fire Joe Person (they can't? oh really)

Just out of curiosity who are some wr free agents you think we may target?

We won't know who is available until free agency starts and everyone makes their cuts or signs and franchises whoever they can. So any speculation right now is not going to be very accurate and will be subject to change.

But if I were looking for a guy it might be one of the following: Dwayne Bowe might be willing to accept less to play for a contender versus floundering around with KC. Hartline might be convinced that Miami is not the one. Breaston is an interesting guy who was just released by KC as well. Other guys like Amendola, Welker, Wallace or Jennings are going to draw significant interest and bucks elsewhere.

There are a number of lesser name guys like Devery Henderson, Dominick Hixon, Ramses Barden who might be worth looking out if they are there. Hixon and Barden are both Giants with previous ties to Gettleman.

Restructure Gross.

Cut Gamble, Edwards, Anderson, Williams (June 1).

Beason either a restruture or cut.

Look at Olsen for possible restruture and Smitty. Smitty might be willing to negotiate a little. Take more guaranteed cash now and possibly retire before the backend of his restruture comes up. Olsen is one of those guys like Godfrey....2014 they are slated for too much as is so something is going to have to be done anyway.

Draft BPA in 1st excluding QB, RB and ILB.

cut gamble, james anderson, armanti, clausen.

re-sign DA, dwan, capt. all to short term cheap deals.

overhaul contracts for beason, gross, deangelo, ron edwards to much cheaper deals.

pick up in FA chris canty, jered cook, and find a couple solid/affordable options for RG and RT to sign for 1-2 year deals.

even tho i don't like limiting draft picks to just a couple positions, try to pick up best FS and WR possible in the draft.

People say cut Gamble and D-Lo because it's the popular thing to say, but if we can get under the cap with them restructuring, then I say keep the both of them.

If we restructure everyone instead of making much needed cuts, we are just going to prolong the cap hell into 2014-2015.

Restructuring does not solve the problem....it only kicks it down the road.

agreed, but when i think restructuring with those two guys and beason....it's gonna have to take a thomas davis type restructure where you basically rip up the old contract and sign a new one that won't hurt the cap.

There's different type of restructuring, in which one way includes a pay cut. i.e. Michael Vick.

I dont get why everyone wants to cut Anderson...

my thinking is that it's a choice between a restructured beason or a restructured anderson, because there's no way we go into the future with either one of those guys at their existing deals. we can't afford to keep both, either.

beason > anderson. we find a way to keep beason here and let anderson go. also cutting anderson will cost less than cutting beason.

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
