no, it would be stupid to ignore the PF/C position for the 4th year in a row

and im not so sure Maclemore is the best overall player/superstar- he seems passive in the tourney so far.. very passive- i want a killer with our #1 pick- esp if thats the #1 overall pick

I actually think all the top 5 or so prospects are good, but nobody stands out as number 1. Between Mclemore's disappearance in the tourney and Shabbazz becoming a year older, you could make a case for a few different players.

Hell if the draft were today, I wouldnt be opposed to drafting Len #1

I was on the McLemore bandwagon, but he seems to lack a killer instinct, and seems to disappear at times.

As much as I hate to say it, I guess I'm on the Noel bandwagon. He won't play most of next season, so we

will suck again and have a high pick in 2014, which is supposedly a better draft.

so tired of losing though

With Henderson coming on strong, I'm all for resigning him and going Oladipo (a guy that I think can be top a 10 player at his position) and address power forwad and center in free agency.

I'll admit I wasn't a fan of Oladipo at first but after watching him these past two months, I can see that he has the IT factor.

I hope we don't get Portlands pick because this draft will be weak.

Idealy I say that it would be nice to trade down with Phoenix

Charlotte Receives

Pick #5 - Victor Oladipo

Pick #30- Gorgui Dieng

Future First

Phoenix Receives

Pick #1

    • I encourage you to go back and watch his college play. Notice how he immediately backpedals to 10 yards behind the LOS on almost every snap. You can't do that in the NFL. Your OTs have no chance of keeping those freak show edge rushers off of you. You can't create a pocket that deep. If you drop back like that in the NFL on a regular basis you're basically on your own. Your OL can't do a whole lot for you. Bryce can chuck it when he has an airport runway in front of him to step up into. There's a reason why "ease of generating velocity" is such a talking point evaluating QBs. It's not how hard or how far you can throw the ball given a perfect situation. It's how hard and how far you can throw the ball in a typical NFL game situation and that's where a lot of my concerns with Bryce were going into the draft. There were way too many plays in his college tape that if you were watching that purely in terms of translating it to the NFL it just didn't work.
    • Yeah, like I said I get it. From a revenue perspective I'm not a good customer for them. They've probably intentionally tanked offline franchise mode to try to get people online. Again, not a terrible strategy from a pure business perspective. I can't really be mad at them for doing what's good for business but yeah, from my perspective it still sucks.
    • Ok let me be more specific. Smith was a stud before Newton got here do you not agree? Yes, LaFell improved under Cam but then had his best years after leaving the Panthers with Cam as the QB and going to NE. So he improved playing with someone else. Olsen was in Chicage the year before Cam arrived and statistically had the same numbers his first year with Cam.  Hope that's clearer for you.
