Kicker for next season?

Did we re-sign Gano for next season? or are we currently without a kicker?

I don't know much about the draft prospects past the first round, are there any kickers worth taking in the 6th?

This is my #1 concern this season that I want to see addressed and I will be very happy with Gettle if we find a great kicker. I'm so sick an tired of getting within the 40-50 and not being able to even chance it due to our inept kicking. Never have I cringed before extra points. Think of all these close games that we could have won with a kicker who could kick a field goal anything <50 yards, and for that reason I feel a kicker could immesley help this team and had been a huge missing peice for two straight years of close games. I have no idea who the prospects are but I do not mind spending a draft pick on the best available at all.

There's bigger concerns.

Don't care, tired of losing close games that could be won with a good kicker. I think people here underestimate a good kicker. Is there a bigger concern in what...the 5th/6th round? It's still the #1 position I want to see fixed, concerned or not, but like I said a fix doesn't mean giving up say a first rounder or something. You don't have to give up much to address it. We have some of the worst kickers in the entire league and have since Kasay.

I think the importance of field goal kickers is sometimes underrated. I wouldn't mind seeing us spend a 6th round pick on a kicker, but I am not sure any of them are worth it. The kid from FSU seems to be the best, maybe we will take a shot at him.
