A question for Panther fans

the falcons give us the most trouble and it's not close.

we lost something like five straight to the vick-led falcons. their awful joey harrington quarterbacked team had a walk-off scoring drive to beat us in 2007 at home. up until we split in 2012 the falcons had beaten us five times in a row again. we haven't won in atlanta since 2007.

they're seemingly always pulling off miracle comeback victories against us (jake's interception returned for a touchdown in overtime in 2003, 4th and 12 in 2004, 2011 @ carolina, that game which shall not be mentioned from last season) and it seems like we always have trouble putting them away. we were up 23-0 against them at home last season and they were still within striking distance late in the game and probably would have given us a scare if williams wouldn't have taken that screen in for a touchdown.

we used to reliably beat up on the saints but they were good for back to back sweeps in 2010 and 2011 before we swept them last season. the panthers beat up on the bucs a lot from 2003-2009, a span which included four sweeps. they actually swept us this past season and in 2010.

some of those cowgirl losses had some of the worst officiating i've ever seen in professional sports

This.

I'm taking D cell batteries to the next Cowgirls game and keeping the refs in check.

Throw a flag because their punter ran into our guy! D cell cracks your skull.

I would say that the Panthers have always been unpredictable because we've had a lot of bad injury seasons over this decade. Fans dont like to talk about it because it sure as hell isnt manly to do so, but the truth is that the Panthers typically are a team that plays on its opponents level. Usually, anyways.

As far teams that have gotten the best of us goes, that would likely be Vick's Falcons. No other name was feared in this franchise except when that red 7 was worn by Vick. He hasnt been a huge concern for us since then.

matt ryan and drew brees don't even frighten me like vick did in his atlanta years. he took over games and beat us almost singlehandedly on many occasions.

Nah those guys look they should be wearing tutu's compared to him and that was when our defense was the most feared in the league. He was our kryptonite.

Yeah 2002 the Vick led Falcons scored a quarter of all the points scored against us for the season. And we scored 0% of our total points against them.

Vick completely dominated us until we found his kryptonite..... #58 (47 back then)

Yep which was nice but he was still like 9-2 against us in that stretch. It was nasty but now that he's gone, Atlanta is just a team of chokers.
