I haven't seen one specific thread for this. If a mod feels this should be moved and added to another thread then do so. But it's looking like we'll be in great shape tomorrow. My dream is Cyprien, but I just can't see him tumbling to 44 especially after Elam got picked tonight. If he's there I think it will be a no-brainer but assuming he's not I like Keenan Allen, Justin Hunter or go ahead and try to complete our defense. We have a few spots in the secondary that need shoring up, especially at safety but I wouldn't be opposed to a CB either. Maybe Amerson, Wreh-Wilson, Shamarko Thomas, Phillip Thomas, Swearinger or Taylor.

G,OT,WR,S,CB. I would be happy with the best available of those. I would also be willing to trade back a few picks if we can grab a 4th this year. Or not draft anyone if we can get a 1st next year. I'm all about building a beast franchise, not just trying to slap mud on the holes for this season.

NOT Geno Smith. It's been said that Rivera wanted and targeted Russel Wilson last year as someone that could back Cam up without changing anything scheme wise. Smith can be seen as the same scenario.

I just can't see us taking a QB like that when there are other holes on the team

I just looked over what is still out there...I see lots of names I would love to have on our team. Here is an intriguing pick: Margus Hunt. He can play 4 downs and has all the right measurables. Not our biggest need but it could be if we can't afford Hardy.

I'd be interested in Warford, M. Watson, A. Okafor, J. Banks, Cyprien,

    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
    • In the locker room after the Dallas game, multiple  players said FEED him when Canales mentioned Rico stats. That already made me think even the locker room wouldn't care if Rico got the touches rn. This is on Canales indeed and I agree n the Qb take.  We aren't winning  bc of Bryce  but he has been managing it. Had the Jets had Qb aptitude,  we could've probably  lost that game too. All they would've needed is 14 points. Regardless, we got a team  that's being built up and that position needs an overhaul.
    • I think he was trying to mimic the Lions with Montgomery and Gibbs. They are just more of the exception to the rule and Brooks was too much of a gamble to be a Gibbs type player. The Lions also didn’t sign Montgomery and draft Gibbs until their offense was nearly set. It was more of a luxury take the offense to the next level type of deal.
