Falcons New Stadium Proposal

IMO really the awfully heinous circus tent looking dome they play in is perfect for them since it reflects their franchise appropriately, but if they go with the design that looks like Jenna Jameson's asshole then that would be an even more appropriate reflection of their franchise.

The other one just looks like a giant greenhouse

It will be connected to the Staples Center

Not a chance...Our Panthers will remain in Charlotte. Los Angeles is dying a slow death due to over taxing. An NFL stadium there is estimated to run around 1.8 billion, but will probably come in at around 2.3 billion. Cats ain't going nowhere!

This link shows the stadium actually retract and turn into some thing else.

the more (relatively) traditional retractable roof one looks a hundred times better than the "space ship constructed of randomly assembled polygons" disaster.

it looks like some poo you'd see in a nintendo 64 launch title and would be completely dated in 15 years.  think back to the original panthers logo and our old "graffiti" text, for example.  that was some cutting edge stuff in 1995 but in 2013 it looks like all the embarrassing "extreme" graphic design tropes of its time rolled in to one.

They are going to have vibrating seats that are synched up to rumble and shake whenever a player in the game takes a big hit, apparently to let the fans get a better "feel" of the game.

Sounds good I guess but in reality what's going to happen is CJ, Hardy, Dwan, Star, Short and Kuechly are going to have Falcons fans spilling beer all over themselves the entire game.

    • Yeah, I was about to say I hope he's doing okay health-wise because he's not looking good in that pic.
    • Honestly, I dont  think he should be on the hot seat yet. A bad start to next year, then yes. Despite our mistakes on play calling this past season, we played better than anticipated overall. Bryce showed improvement and maturity (although still not nowhere close to our expectations). Better record and 2-15 to 5-12 to 8-9. Despite what we feel the stats dont lie we are improving by 3 wins a year. Could 11-6 be our expectation. That's a high bar but at the rate we are going, thats what its looking like. We all want to see a 5-12 to a 13-4 record but we are methodically moving up. Success doesnt happen overnight (well in most cases).  IMO we are struggling mostly on the defensive end. LB and edge are our biggest weakness. I see Bryce making improvements (even though I was a Bryce hater) next year. Biggest concern is LT on offense. How to fix this? We need a big name edge or to trade up and get a big name edge or LB and pick up one in FA and draft one. Also if in the 3rd we can pick up a TE. Dont know if Sanders is the answer or Tremble (even though I love Trembles blocking and power after the catch). If these two can get their footwork together they would be great. Maybe all they need is a better TE coach. And if Brooks can stay healthy and be the back we thought he could be, man that would be great
    • Dumbly blaming the best player on the team for everything.
