Im on the Dante Rosario bandwagon. Made some great catches last year and some of my Charger friends see him as their golden nugget (not saying much though, I know). Would he want to return to the team that let him go though?

One interesting thought I had was perhaps trading for Tony Moeaki. The Chiefs just drafted Travis Kelce and still have Anthony Fasano, plus other options. Likely wouldn't cost much to get him and he would upgrade our team.

Maybe a 6th-7th rounder. He really hasn't done much since he's been dafted. And I understand its the Chefs, but we could possibly find that kind of production from one of our undrafted guys.

He was productive his rookie year and had a solid year last year. Kid tore his ACL in his 2nd year so he probably wasn't 100%. But I remember his first year people were lauding his production.

I definitely remember his rookie year. Lot of people thought he'd replace Gonzo. IF he can get back to that, I'd have no problem with it, but I still wouldn't give up more than a 6th.

While not exactly on topic, this post does pertain to TE. The Panthers signed undrafted free agent Taylor Cook of Rice university. He was their backup TE, their regular punter and converted from QB to TE. On Nov. 13, 2010 he completed the go ahead touchdown in Rice's 49-48 win over Tulane. It was a 29 yard strike. Oh, and he transferred  to Rice from Miami. Sorry, I don't make threads and just wanted to stick this somewhere.

Yes please!  what would it take?  Id give up a 5th for him if he passed a physical

I honestly think we're going to consider Kellen Winslow. He's the most talented TE in the market right now.

I think that he's done. Injuries and 'intangibles' will keep him out of the league. Plus, he isn't effective anymore. He lost a lot of his speed and cutting ability.

    • There probably isn’t an orthopedic surgery that has had more improvement in technique and outcomes over the last two decades than the acl repair. Because of its importance in pro sports and the sheer number that surgeons do there have been lots of opportunities to practice 1. Better techniques - arthroscopic v open surgery means people heal faster  2. More training - all sports med surgeons have tons of experience doing them 3. better imaging - later generations of mri are more sensitive  4. better therapy - PTs have gotten better at rehabbing them and the theories of rehab have improved a lot. No idea about brooks in particular tho, but I’d describe that overall situation as “not great”
    • If Freeling or either of the Utah OTs dropped to 19 I'd be more than happy honestly. Our OT situation isn't great with an aging Moton at RT and a mess of a situation at LT if Walker goes down at any point in time.  What I'm expecting the Panthers to do is probably draft another weapon like Sadiq or KC Conception. That's been their track record in drafting R1 thus far. None of the defensive talent projected to be around 19 stands out to me. Unless they just want to draft a LB early (Rodriguez,  CJ Allen, Anthony Hill, Jake Gollday).
