Just so we know we aren't alone about Adam Schein being a sh*thead

Recommended Posts

Just randomly clicked on one of those links that ended up talking about the Cowboys.   Schein made similar comments in an article about them, saying "flat-out the worst team in the division" and "one of the worst four teams in the conference".  Pretty sure he made almost identical comments in his article from earlier about the Panthers.

Basically his formula is the same, he just adds in the names of players or Team XYZ  into his articles without doing any research and hits the publish button. Although I'm all for Cowboy bashing...dude is a clown.

This one was especially funny from a Saints fan:

"I don't believe Newton has what it takes to eradicate and/or mask areas of deficiency. I don't believe he is an elite, upper-echelon quarterback. The Panthers have finished under .500 in both of Newton's seasons as the quarterback. Cam can be dazzling and, at times, absolutely breathtaking. He also can be inconsistent when it comes to protecting the ball and downright maddening in terms of how he handles the "fifth quarter" responsibilities that come with being an NFL quarterback"

Bullshit. Cam can't be the entire fuging team. It's just not possible. I HATE the Panthers and I can say it. Watch the games and it's just plain as day. If stuff isn't working and Cam gets frustrated, he doesn't just lie down and let the game crumble. He fuging runs like a mad man. That doesn't work? Who the fug cares, he's god damn Cam Newton and he'll just toss a bullet to Steve Smith. I don't care how well RGIII/Wilson/Kaepernick played this year. If I didn't have Brees and I had to choose from them and Newton, it'd be Newton in a heart beat.

"His teammates have yet to vote him captain. That tells me something. Newton still needs to grow up. That's a problem."

Let me guess, this is what they characterize Newton as:

:(

And let's just say they don't want Cam. Who the hell is gonna be better that's available? He is 100% their BEST CHANCE of winning games.

Adam Schein is a tool.

Wow, reading this made me feel like the world was coming to an end, can't believe Cam got so much backing from other teams.

Cam is actually generally well-received on NFL Reddit.  Of course you have the occasional dipshits who pout the same ESPN-esque crap,  but for the most part the posters there know that all of that crap last season was media hyperbole.  Hell, I've seen many different team's fans on there proclaim that Cam easily has the potential to be one of, if not, the best QBs in the league and the best of the crop of young QBs... they realize he's just had some tough breaks.  It's definitely become my favorite source for news around the league.

Haha yeah, I loved that one.  I've noticed a lot of rival NFCS fans (Saints in particular it seems) on there, rivalry aside of course, seem to be high on some Cam Newton and agree he catches a lot of undeserved poo.  Shocked the hell out of me.  The general consensus on Matt Ryan still seems to be that he's a douche-nozzle but still pretty good, Freeman is just that other guy in the division, talented no doubt, with Jekyll/Hyde-like tendencies and just as likely to throw 5 INTs as he is 3 TDs, and Brees is just Drew Brees... the often over-looked super accurate member of the 'elite' group of QBs.

    • So he became GM and decided not to address the weakness in the QB room following one of the worst rookie QB performances in NFL history?  There were options last season other than signing Dalton to a 2 year deal. Brissett and Jones by a wide margin, both of whom outplayed Bryce, Wilson, Winston, hell even Rivers off the couch was more exciting at the QB position. The time to address the failure in the QB room was last year but instead people on the Huddle cheered when we brought Dalton back then cheered when we were able to get anything for him after they finally realized he was washed up like a few of had been saying all along and got poo'd for even mentioning.  This year, the options were more limited obviously, especially since we lost Icky. It changed the dynamic of our draft. I think we were stuck this year keeping Bryce, but i still think giving him a 5th year option for what has amounted to replacement worthy performance was the wrong move. Why guarantee 25m if you're planning to replace him? You think he's going to want to be a bridge QB? Hell no. He's going to want out and we'll end up cutting him if he has another lackluster season because no one is trading for him with that price tag.  Were there better options as far as production available. A couple. Were there guys available with more physical tools than Bryce, Pickett or Grier, you damn well better believe there were. I've been saying all along, you always keep looking for your 1b. Bryce has yet to prove he can be a starter. Keep looking for someone who may. Put competition in camp. Let the best QB lead the team. Stop settling for less than mediocre.
    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
