Rolling Stone Poll: Ten Worst 90s Bands

WOOOWW...  What?  Spin Doctors made it on the list???  LOL.

See, where did that come from.  Everyone loved them.  They were literally the next big thing and then they dropped their second album and it all went downhill.  But, I remember being about 9 or so and listening to "Two Princes" and thinking I was the biggest badass on the face of the Earth, lol.

So much so that I downloaded that song again in 2011 and played it (albeit slightly less loud than my newer music) in my iPod nonstop between classes.

Man, that sucks.

Continued clicking...  Bush AND Hootie?  LOL...

I'm not gonna lie though...  Hootie was a "closet listen."  My parents wouldn't listen to my other music (rap) in the car when we'd go somewhere, so I had to compromise.  But, it definitely wasn't something I shared with many of my friends.

Best line in the whole thing:

"Frontman Scott Stapp is so despised that when a video surfaced of him getting a blowjob next to Kid Rock, Kid Rock said he was mainly embarrassed people learned he was hanging out with Scott Stapp."

And for those of you that aren't familiar with "shred" videos, it kind of summarizes everyone's feelings about bands like this:

Gets me everytime, lol.

I like how they called out the people who voted for Nirvana on that list. LOL

I would have to agree with the two earlier comments on Meshuggah, kick ass band.

Mind's Mirror through In Death is Death is 20 minutes of the perfect buildup to outstanding chaos.

Bush, Nirvana, DMB and Hootie don't have any place being on that list.  I don't like Hootie or Dave but both of them are solid groups with talent, bottom line.  Commercialized and annoying fan followings: yes, but it doesn't take away the talent.

1 & 2 are spot on though.

Sorry guys it does not get more generic than Hootie and the Blowfish. Id rather listen to the Spin Doctors and its not close lol.

Im concerned about the lack of Stone Temple Pilots but Bush Creed and Nickleback can get into a Hunger Games tourny for all I care.
