Gettlemen continues to get criticism for not bringing in a WR

I was listening today to Jamie Dukes and Eric Davis still criticizing the Panthers for not bringing in a WR. 

My take is we had to make choices in the 1st round...... and I agree with the pick of Star.I guess the question is was there a guy in the 2nd round that would have supplanted LeFell ?

A second round rookie would not start over either.

 

Ginn was brought in to compete for that 3rd WR spot in 3 wide sets.

 

I am not sure Dukes or Davis have a clue on what they are talking about.

I think Hixon was brought in to fill the number 3 spot. Ginn might be the number 4 and do punt returns. I think Ginn could move up if he works on his hands.

I also love how LaFell is totally overlooked as a viable # 2 receiver.

I agree.....we did not have the cap space to grab a tier one WR in the FA market so the alternative was the draft.

Also, can we go ahead and throw Greg Olsen in any passing offense topics? He is a hell of a good receiver, just not of the wide variety.

I also think if we improved the OL and the routes the number 2 runs it would make the position more relevant.Last year much of LaFells success came where he was in the slot position.

SO are we bashing Gettleman for not spending money that doesn't exist on his ledger?
