51 dead in Oklahoma and more expected.  Great tragedy...

As for Cole- I want our defensive line to be like the Williams line in Minnesota.  Teams passed because they couldn't run. You have to go back to 2005 (4th) when we were top 5 in fewest run yards allowed.

Born in Canada!

[sarcasm on] Canada's not a country, it's America's hat [sarcasm off]

I like how the NFL is getting starting to get players from around the world. Our Canadian Colin Cole and the kid from Ghana we drafted. The German and Estonian kids that were just drafted. Word's starting to get out around the globe about real football, not that soccer b.s.

maybe i'm being too literal not really a fan of soccer as a national sport like i am of the nfl but as for playing soccer love it just like football. I assume you guys are talking about on a national level but if not i can understand where your coming from felt the same way about soccer at first.

I can understand why soccer is hard to penetrate the American market; it's such a seemingly inconsequential sport since scoring is a rare affair at quality levels. However, the disparity of talent between clubs is so vast that it's really a huge deal if a lower-level squad can beat one of its bigger brethren, because it's much harder to cover for inferiority in talent in soccer. When you watch a talented team play a lower-level squad it's immediately apparent that low-scoring affairs are the norm between relatively equal squads only, and can turn into blowouts otherwise.

    • Reasonable. I mean I didn’t see a clear path to relief this season myself. As I have typed already, I think the QB FA class is more interesting next season and that draft is supposed to be stacked as well. There just weren’t many options this year.  When you have Tepper to contend with you have to tread lightly around this unless you are 100% certain and willIng to stake your job on it.   There were a couple of outings that helped Bryce a lot in terms of  thinking maybe he can do this, and if you are a supporter you are giving them a lot of weight. You are likely to think just get him some more help and he can do that every week. Which I think Tepper falls into that category.  And the playoffs, division champs, regardless of the way I see that, the supporters will also give that a lot of weight.    And the big one, the atmosphere In BOA for that WC game, Tepper had to be soiling himself over that. If you pulled Bryce out right now you had better be right and your new guy had better make the playoffs and look good doing it or you will be gone and your chance to build your old team back into respectability will be gone too.  So here we have Pickett on a one year deal, and Grier and King. I understand it.
    • Well, seeing as we play the Lions at home this year, pretty sure that rumor isn't true.
