03/26/12 - South Dakota State wideout Dale Moss, 6-3 and 213 pounds, was clocked between 4.38-4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He also posted a 41.5-inch vertical and a 10-10 broad jump, demonstrating exciting explosiveness. Perhaps most impressive was the burst and change of direction ability Moss showed during shuttle drills. Rarely are taller athletes capable of pivoting as fluidly as shorter athletes, but that is precisely what Moss did, clocking in at a stunning 6.32 seconds in the three-cone drill and 4.08 seconds in the short-shuttle. Moss' effort in the three-cone drill would have led all 2012 combine participants and is faster than the numbers put forth last year by former Oregon wide receiver Jeff Maehl, who led all 2011 prospects with a 6.42 second time. Moss is a particularly intriguing athlete because he only has one year of football experience. 03/24/12 - A group of 15 area college football standouts – including Brandon native Dale Moss – performed drills for NFL scouts on Thursday afternoon at the DakotaDome in Vermillion. The main draw: South Dakota offensive tackle Tom Compton, the only in-state player invited to the NFL Combine last month in Indianapolis. The breakout performer: South Dakota State receiver Dale Moss. A Brandon Valley grad, Moss measured in at 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds and then put up impressive numbers in individual drills, according to agent Scott Smith. His time in the 3-cone drill (6.32 seconds) was faster than anyone has ever done at the NFL Combine regardless of position, according to the event's website. His vertical leap (41.5 inches) and 60-yard shuttle (10.82) would have ranked second at this year's combine and his broad jump (10-10) would have ranked sixth. 03/24/12 - Heading into his pro day in Vermillion, Dale Moss knew he had some questions to answer. With only one year of football under his belt the former SDSU hoopster has worked to make up for lost time. "Some analysts had questions about my speed, my athleticism and I just really feel I put those to rest and showcased really well today," Dale Moss said. "This time last year I wasn't even sure yet I was playing football. The difference a year makes, great people around me the whole way. It was a lot of work but it's great to see some of the hard work paying off," Moss said. After the impressive showing multiple scouting services are projecting Moss will be selected in the NFL draft, and no matter when or where that happens, it'll be a dream come true. "That's been my goal from the get go. I fully hope to and I fully think my name will get called on draft day.       100%. And these same people will claim you have an agenda. You can't have it every way. We had the lowest rated defense in the league last year. Statistically the worst ever. By PFF grades (for whatever that's worth- but they are readily accepted, used, and conveyed by most "reputable" sources), the defense was the worst ever. Not only that, PFF rated our receiving corp the worst in football last season. The absolute worst... out of 32 teams. Which is why regardless of the lip service Canales and Morgan paid to the current guys, they knew it would be criminal not to give Bryce more help. People fixating on team stats and not taking these things into context are stupid, plain and simple, and I'm for one thankful they're not running this team (or probably anything for that matter bc they obviously can't discern reality. Again, going back to the eyeball test these Narrative Nancies seem to hate so much, did they not see the windows Bryce was putting balls into? Have the generally not watched much NFL? Please, please show me the film where all these NFL QBs are making throws like this to this point Bryce was "below average" down the stretch compared to them. Bryce made more wow throws in that 3 game stretch of the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles than every other QB combined in all the years since since Cam got hurt I genuinely am baffled by people that can watch throws like that and act like it's nothing. I guarantee you Steve Spagnola, Todd Bowles, and and Vic Fangio didn't think it was nothing after watching the little guy torch them with players those teams would be embarrassed to trot out at the skill position players. The national media spent all year making excuses for Mahomes not having elite weapons when he had multiple 1st & 2nd round talents at the skill positions along with future HoFers in Kelce and Hopkins. Bryce wasn't throwing for 300 yards every week with David Moore and Adam Theilen in spite of jaw dropping throws and you want to say the guy played below average. For those people, again, we ain't watching the same sport. And the name calling doesn't change that... The vitriol and projection... it's off the effing charts with these people.

      "Well you see if you remove this terrible game that terrible game this other terrible game and then focus on these games you'll see he's actually one of the better QB's in the league and he's actually as good as Jayden Daniels". My god this place is delusional. I love it.
