We don't have to use him every down, but if no other team picks him up and plays for a minimum contract we should consider it. He has really good knowledge of the game and him and Smitty could really teach and develop our other receivers.

 

randy has given no fugs in at least 2

Neither Moss nor Smith have much of a history of helping young WRs grow and develop...

He provides us absolutely nothing. He is nowhere close to the player he used to be. Why would we have a crappy old fart come in and take a young guys spot who may have potential. We are trying to be a young team. If we needed a veteran on the team to help us get to the super bowl then I can understand it. I wouldn't choose Moss though

      I think he's gone, and rightfully so, if he turns in another losing record. The "talented roster," regardless of how true or not, is a double-edged sword. If the roster is so much improved now from 202X then why are you still producing losing seasons? On one hand, maybe that's what needs to happen. Have the GM hire the new coach, and then have the new coach pick his guy to run his system. That is typically how it works in the NFL. Not the forced inheritance deal we have had in place.

      Hinging on Brooks to be our spark...be good if it happens... but not holding my breath....RB next draft. Morgan gambled...it would be a 2 year payoff if thing happened.

      Only way Canales is fired is if we are attrocious everywhere....  defense /special teams and offense..  There are enough "questions" on if BY9 is the guy that ownership wouldn't fire the coach for "just" mid qb play.  Especially with as talented a roster that has played "well enough" to win some tough football games and hang in there against the top tier of the NFL ...(mostly).   Now total team suckage..yeah .. but I don't see that happening.
