Panthers @ Bills

I've just read that the Anchor Bar is where the chicken wing originated, and I'm partial to a wing so this will definitely be on my list. Is it a good TV setup for game watching as well?

Niagara Falls is also intriguing. Depending on how drunk we get Friday night, a trip there Saturday morning could be in the works.

Thanks for the help!

TV set up is good if your the actual bar. They don't have them set up through the restaurant seating. Again, its a good experience going there since its where the wing originated, but I actually prefer Duffs for wings. They have several locations in Buffalo.

Was about to ask what the best place for wings is. I'm tempted to stay around Niagara Falls to take it in before going to the game

I don't recommend staying in Niagara Falls unless you are on the Canada side. The US side isn't as developed or as nice as the Canadian side. They do have a casino though.

Plus, the stadium is actually south of Buffalo, so its a bit of a drive from Niagara Falls. Probably 45 minutes or so.

They have some good tailgating up there. I even remember seeing an NFL Films thing about this legendary Bills fan that drives an old Pinto to the games. He cooks food on his engine block as he drives to the stadium. Real nerdy looking guy but is this tailgate god or something. He's probably dead now.

Was thinking of staying on the Canadian side since I've heard it's better there. Not crazy about a 45 min drive Sunday morning though. Thanks for the heads up

Ken Johnson is his name.. not sure if hes dead or not. But it was his 1980 pinto.

I know a few people that go up and have a great tailgating spread. They were on that show Tailgate Warriors.

I almost died laughing when the guy pulled into his parking space and popped his hood and there were like brats and poo cooking on the engine. He said it was hard to drive because the food smelled so good LMAO

I heard the Bills made him move to the outer lots cause he was raising too much hell.

This is a giant shot in the dark and sorry to change the venue but if there are any panthers fans in Arizona besides me and the one other guy ive met...ill be tailgating all day on oct. 6 when they come to town sitting right behind the panthers bench...could use some help with cards fans who typically dont really know anything about foootball but just like to get drunk and obnoxious...almost got kicked out 2 years ago in cams debut for some a**hole who wouldnt stop running his mouth to me and my little brother.

I'll prolly be there.  I'll be coming from Albany.

Bills fans aren't too bad.  They get mouthy at their games but they generally won't get too out of line.

The city is a shithole.  The stadium is dated and classic.  I have a hell of a drunken time everytime I go though.

    • I usually don’t get attached in that way to player issues. I mostly observe. Not gonna go into Cam and Jake because this is going to be long enough already.  I just was so against taking him because I looked at him pre draft - since it was made into such a major crossroads for the team with that trade. I could see right away it was a horrible mistake once Inlooked at his video. And couldn’t believe that pro people overlooked that stuff. Just unbelievable. Still is.  But even pre draft, and certainly post draft and camp… every time I said “hmm, have you guys seen this with his arm, with his footwork, the tippy toe drop back with the square to the line stuff, it all adds time to the play and how is that gonna work against actual NFL defenders? The margins are already so slim even for people with great arms etc etc” I was met with torrents of scorn and ‘processor” and ‘SEC is the NFL’ and everything else they were fed. People wouldn’t open their eyes they just were always telling me to find another team blah blah, idiot, all kinds of hateful poo. While I am being called the hater lol.  That made it bigger than him for me. Way bigger. But, I and all the naysayers have already been proven right. He was not worth the trade or his draft position. That is in the books. Now it is new goalposts. Can he even be salvaged? Was it worth building this offense around him just to save face over the investment? Is he worth the 5th year? The 4th year even? That is what is in doubt now.
    • Why did Rod healthy scratch Nikishin??
    • Could have been worse than a 1 goal deficit
