Winning

With the preseason everyone is on edge, over guessing, evaluating, and anxious.... However there is one thing that is and will always remain important, something this team will have to do to meet expectations. WIN..

Yes, simple and mundane. However it's imperative that out team understand the concept.

Much is being made about the Ravens game and as it should be. This team needs to win.

Winning is contagious. So is losing (the words of Vince Lombardi) this team needs to realize that even though its the preseason they have to change the culture. That culture is "it's not ok to lose". This is the one thing that Cam can press on the team, a message that should be conveyed from the front office and coaches.

Winning is important, even though its preseason this team needs to learn its the reason they suit up. Nothing else matters.

The elephant in the room as everyone knows (or should know) that if this team loses this year, G man will blow it up and we will be rebuilding.

Now is the time to win, time for the team to dominate. And it starts with Baltimore.

Go kick the crap out of the SB champs and make a statement, show the world you know how to win, and do it with purpose.

If not, the season might not have Been lost but the culture in Carolina might not change, and it's time for change...

Keep pounding.

Just when you thought the estrogen levels of the huddle couldn't get any higher....

I'm sorry, but this is like the 20th preseason panic thread. I wish we could confine all of you doom and gloom crybabies to one or two threads.

I'd just as soon keep it to personnel news and football discussion until we actually play a real football game or two.

Winning means jack poo in the preseason. If we go out and kick the poo out of the Seahawks do you think it matters one bit we struggled after it was noted we had a bad end to camp? The first three weeks of the regular season will make or break this year. Not a preseason game against the Ravens

I think you guys are missing the point of the op. If any preseason game matters it's the third one. It's somewhat of a dressed rehearsal. While we don't need to necessarily finish the game with a W. Our starters need to look competitive against their starters. This is the final game that most starters will play in last chance to get the rust off.

Doubt is the cancer of confidence. It will eat away at the mind and infect the team.

There is no place for losing. This is the year and its time to prove it.

Kick the crap out of the SB CHAMPS and watch the confidence on this team go through the roof.

Lose and just watch this website. Doubt will prevail.

    • Sellers is absolutely one to keep an eye on. Could be the next Cam or could be the next Anthony Richardson. Curious to see how he has progressed come this fall.
    • I think Texas could go 0-12 and he would still go #1 based on his name and traits like you say.  But nusselman and sellers may be actually better qbs.    Man if bryce stinks it up this season its looking like a damn good year to swap out qbs.  Sellers highlights are just fuging jaw dropping
    • I mean, the kid comes from a wealthy family. It's not like he needs the money. He has a ton of potential now we get to see what he can do as a starter. Everyone penciling him in as the #1 overall pick is putting the cart way before the horse. It's 5% because of his talent and what he's showing on the field and 95% because his last name is Manning. And if he is what he's hyped to be the Texas coaching staff needs to be answering some tough questions about why the kid wasn't on the field sooner. Ewers was a good college QB but he's definitely not a "keep a future #1 overall pick waiting" type of college QB. Only getting one season out of a top NFL talent because you chose to keep him buried behind a borderline NFL talent is just coaching negligence. Not starting him as a true freshman? Yeah, I get that. But on year two if the kids is what he's hyped to be you gotta wish Ewers well elsewhere and turn the page.
