This was already discussed a while back. I can't find the post. But it's not uncommon. I live in Yorktown Virginia for the last 5 years and they show Panthers preseason games and the Panthers Huddle (all season long).

Don't mind, at this point in the year, the more football the better...actually that applies to any point in the year.

The game was on NFL Network and in HD.Bet Panther games aren't broadcast in DC, maybe it's just me. Heck if they want to show it, do it in HD, the baseball game was. Bet the ratings were higher for the baseball game, than an out of market pre-season football game.
