I've noticed my game always freezes when Cam is dominating. Coincidence? I doubt it.

I kept having freezing issues with Madden 13. To this day I still cannot play one game of madden without it freezing on me on the loading screen. I just hope Madden 25 is a lot better.

The good thing about madden though is if you actually learn how to play the game; Learn to pass properly, read coverages, and basic schemes, no cheap bs, then you can always be good at madden year in and year out.

 

 

Do people still do the no huddle run BS in madden 25?

 

I still have madden 12 and literally I am the best legit player that still plays the game. Most people do no huddle run BS over and over with the 49ers and Texans until the game cheats and gives them 80 yd TD run. Then when that doesn't work they endzone fade cheat with Andre Johnson which is impossible to stop.

No huddle draw out of a 4 receiver package is all I saw last night

I tried booting it up again today and just can't do it. It feels broken. The offensive is so massively overpowered over the defense it's ridiculous. Typical games in franchise mode typically have the opposing QB completing all but 3 or 4 passes a game. I'm still winning of course in 50-45 scores and such, but it's completely immersion breaking. I've cranked up the sliders on my pass defense and it still doesn't do anything, as if I go too high it's too extreme in the other direction.

Online play is hte only way to achieve a real challenge. Against CPU you will win almost always.

 

User skills are what make defense. Also the game varies year to year on which routes work well. Last year fades to the endzone were really hard to stop. Fades with a inside pass lead also worked very well. This year, not so much.

 

Takes time to adjust and figure out which passes you can get away with and which you can't. Took me about 10 games before I stopped throwing picks on bad throws. The mistakes still happen, but if you get picked off by the CPU you deserve it.

 

Kickoffs though, wow. Way too easy. Entertaining though.

 

Anyone playing Ultimate Team? I have been looking for coin games.

But good standard teams are open. Good mature owners and we advance twice a week (Tuesday and Fridays) so plenty of time to get the games in.

i agree that the offense is overpowered but the cpu still can't do poo on offense. franchise mode is a joke; if i for some reason play all 16 games i would probably go 16-0 every time.

 

that poo is absolutely retarded online

I had that issue at first.  I went on to operation sports web page and they had some slider settings that made it better.  Worth a look.  Although it feels like your doing the dev job fixing the game using sliders.

It's worth mentioning, that I haven't bought the game in a few years and have gotten some enjoyment out of it. It's just some problems like the one I responded to that turn me off to it in a big way at times.
