just when i start to feel a little confident that he's turned a corner he opens his mouth and proves he's the same guy.

i can;t wait until he actually shows that losing isn't an exceptable outcome ever or he's fired.

no urgency week one. this is the tone he's setting. yay.

gettleman...get this clown out of town if we have a losing record going into the bye or at any point afterward and find someone who won't tolerate it.

Watch the video. He says nothing of that nature.

The rivera comments were blown way out of proportion, he actually said he stressed getting off to a quick start so I don't see why everyone's crying..

Probably because like me they didnt watch the video the quotes in the op seem to be misleading but still what the actual fug garry williams will be starting over wharton

I would definitely watch the video and form your own opinion. And as far as williams and Wharton, while I may not agree with the choice, I just choose to trust the coaching staff and not stress out over it.

i did. you're right.

much better than what was represented in the OP. not sure how he got what he did from what rivera said.

pick up where they left off last year. start fast. want to win them all.

to be fair, rivera made enough excuses and justifications for losses last year..."there's always next week" and "rome wasn't built in a day". crap like that just pisses me off. i'm still not at all won over by rivera yet. game management and his reactions to losses are two very huge things for me and until i see changes there, he's still the same guy. his accepting that he could have done things better management-wise last year and pointing out bad decisions he made and owning them made me feel a bit better about him, but i have to see it to believe it.

I represented what he said pretty dang well. It's a quick paraphrase, I didn't make people read into it or freak out without context. I presented it as out of context.
