30+ seconds left in the 1st half and you have the ball.........

Ok, the argument could be made for both sides. But when you have 30+ seconds left and the ball in your hands you try to score...

This is what pisses me off about Rivera. ----- You are playing an explosive team who can score at anytime and they are due to get the ball 1st in the 2nd half, you go and try to score.

.....Until Rivera can get his balls out of the freezer expect more of the same...

30 seconds with 3 TOs is enticing.

But you defense just escaped with a Turnover after a long drive and the other team still has two TOs, a turn over would just completely shift momentum.

That was a good call. This isn't madden.

Running out the clock was not a bad decision. They were just as likely to score as we were had we tried to score. Not worth the risk at that point in the game.

4th and inches on our own 30? Punt is the right call. Sure, we'd get it 65% of the time, but the risk was not worth the reward.

The only questionable one was not going for it 4th and 2 at the 50. I think if it would have been 4th and 1 or inches, they would have gone for it, but 2 was too long. That one can go either way. I do believe the refs spotted that ball about a yard short because they put it where Cam's knees went down rather than where the ball was.

Why the fug isn't this guy banned??? Zod a bet is a bet right? OP what yard line were we on at that time???? Yeah a pick there would've been great, go watch Snow Dogs

Actually the Seahawks didn't accept the bet. Even they thought we'd win this game.

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
