On to Buffalo

We will be 1-1 after Buffalo, and people will be singing Rivera's praises.  Panther fans are in a fickle state of mind, and not without reason.  Week 3 against NYG will be the game I am most looking forward to seeing.. if we can beat them, the rest of schedule looks fairly easy.  Our schedule is very weak this year.

All of these games look very winnable to me.  Let's not throw in the towel just yet.

Our problem is offense. Not our DBs. If the defense is on the field long enough, there will be mistakes

i don't see how anyone can say a team that only got 7 points played well.

 

Maybe the only other game they watched this week was Chiefs v. Jaguars.

 

Compared to the Jags we were the 80s Niners.

True. Ill just say offense is the biggest problem. 13 pts isn't bad for a D to give up, but 7 points from an offense is.

 

No question we could use help in the secondary. Also, gotta give Wilson credit. He pisses me off but the dude can escape the pocket and complete passes with pressure in his face while on the run. I feel like a lot of those completions happened when he got flushed out of the pocket, and the receivers broke out of their original route and found a soft spot. Hard for a DB to cover for that long when a play breaks down. 85% of the QBs we will face wont have the ability to do what Wilson did to us. They will just get sacked.

NE sacked the rookie 0 times. Do you think we get 0 sacks? Cause I think we get more than 0. Our front 7 is better than NE's front 7. We'll pressure the rookie and he'll make mistakes.

We'll definitely get pressure on the QB against the Bills...  The offense has to step up and the stupid mistakes must stop.  Pretty simple actually no matter who the opponent.

Injuries to Bills.

WR Marquise Goodwin and Nickelback Ron Brooks both out indefinetly.  Their secondary is demolished considering Jarius Byrd (plantar fascia) and Stephon Gilmore (broken hand) are already out.

I'll say this, Shane Vereen had 100 yards rushing against that Bills D. D-Will + his determination to make up for the fumble = big game. Cam will only need to make a couple plays, let the running game go to work and let that defense of ours put in some smash.
