if you had your choice of any coach in the NFL.. or even college...  Who would you go for?

I think personally it have to be one of the Harbaugh Brothers as my first pick (prolly jim)   or Mike McCarthy...  MAYBE gary kubiak.... (always liked what he did with the texans)

and the best part of this entire post..

Chudpusy is last on the list!! i mean litterally! ..here see the list for yourself!

If I had any choice I would take Belichick over anyone with the caveat that he could not do our drafting.

Highly doubt you get Belichick without total control. His ego is almost an entity unto itself at this point.

I still prefer the 'build your own star' approach over any of the retread options.

Belichick

College: David Shaw and Kevin Sumlin

Somebody bounced Sumlin's name around to me, and I have to admit he is intriguing.

Shaw would be nice but tough to get IMO.

I have always liked Petersen at Boise.

Charlie Strong is impressive to me but expensive.

The thing about getting a head coach is that they have an identity and belief in what they are doing because they have been successful.

Some people frown on stubborness (like Foxxy) but I think it can be good because I think coordinators are more susceptible to second guessing themselves and over correcting problems even if they don't really exist. Therefore it is hard to establish an identity. Create your identity and stick with it come hell or high water. Don't just change with the wind every time it isn't successful.

Yup, I absolutely agree.

When Foxy was here we knew exactly what his identity was: pound the football and played hard nose defense. Rivera has yet to identify what his identity is here in Carolina.

Hoping for the best with Rivera this season, but assuming if things go wrong I would wish that Sumlin would be a man Gman will target along with Greg Roman. Both of those guys have found success with mobile QBs (Kaep/Manziel) similar to Cam. It would be a match made in heaven if we could land one of those guy to coach Cam and this team. Also, we have found out that the NFL is not too big for college coaches to make the transition to.

Who cares? One thing for sure is that Jim have a more consistent record of success to date than Rivera.

He's also an arrogant, infantile, emotionally volatile, duplicitous, glory-seeking, steaming pile of excrement masquerading as a head coach with a towering ego that overshadows his credible skills. Anyone with more than a cursory knowledge of Harbaugh's background knows that he has been very successful but that a lot of poisoned relationships and bad blood follows him.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
