That would not surprise me one bit. There is zero chance he hires a college coach. I would hope for either Gruden or Cowher verses another defensive guru. At least those 2 have passion for the game. Fox and Rivera stand on the sidelines like totem polls.

Went 9-7 and barely missed the playoffs his 1st season, went 6-10 the next season because they were starting their 3rd string QB most of the season due to injuries with Daunte Culpepper and his backup

 

With that said, I think he's fine with staying at Alabama.

Saban is ok but he recruits his ass of at Alabama. Without the talent advantage he has i really feel he would be a slightly better version of Ron Rivera.
