The problem is a lot of you think its black and white, all I hear is "we need a OC or offensive minded HC to grow with Cam" You have to hire a guy you feel will make a great HC. I can easily just as say "we need a defensive minded HC to grow and build around our young MLB Kuechly." When you draw a hard line like that, you greatly limit your options. Look at Bellicheck, a defensive mind and former DC and Tom Brady and his offense look just fine to me. Look at Gary Kubiak, hes a offensive mind and former OC but yet the Texans have a pretty stout D. The bottom line is you need to hire a individual that you feel possess that unique leadership and HC quality that you cant see in the Xs and Os and I always felt Ryan was that guy.
