The OL needs some help. Both this game and the Giants game were products of Cam having time in the pocket and the ability to see the field and step into his throws. IMO, while grabbing another receiver would be nice, having an OL that consistently gives Cam the kind of time he has had in the 2 wins would go a LONG way for this team.

Good point. Spoken like a person who actually pay attention to the whole game and not one player.

Many seem to forget that having time to scan the field is very important but anything that focuses on the weakness of this team and not Cam seems to be a No..no with some on here.

I do think Cam could have played better, but it should be pretty obvious I'm much more saying that Russel finds ways to win the game for his team.

I guess you didn't see the recent Seahawks/Colts game where Wilson threw a game ending interception while his team was driving down the field only needing a touchdown to win. All quarterbacks are capable of making mistakes, and having bad games. Simple fact.

Russel had a pretty good game with one mistake.

Give me Russel's 2 touch down , 200 passing yards and 100 yards rushing that lead to 28 points over Cams 0 touch down day with 300 passing yards. Russels team put up 28. Cam only 6. It's clear which one does more for his team.

That "one mistake" as you casually simplify it, cost his team the game, plain and simple. If it were Cam in that situation, I am guessing that you would not be so dismissive and understanding of such a mistake, now would you? It seems obvious you haven't followed Wilson.

The Seahawks are a very very very talented football team. They do not require Wilson to literally will that team to a win.

For an example of this. Let's look at his performances in a few of their wins so far this year.

Against the 49ers: 8/19 for 142 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT, QB rating of 63.9, QBR of 25.9. Seahawks win 29-3.

Against the Texans: 12/23 for 123 yards, 0 TD's, 1 INT, QB rating of 49.7, QBR of 20.6. Seahawks win 23-20.

Those are wins against two of the top teams in the NFL, now you tell me if you think Wilson won those games or his team did.

BigBoss never came back after the last reply. He knows absolutely dick about football.

    • All these rankings have more to do with the writers love or hate for a team.  Morgan, IMO, has done a really good job at building this team.  Yeah, there are a couple of whiffs but for the most part he has done quite well drafting and signing free agents.  22 is a bit low but it's a stupid opinion based on how little a writer knows about the Panthers.
    • When I saw that I was thinking the same thing.  If Evero does have a great season and gets hired as a head coach I wouldn't mind see McD as our DC.  If we do poorly as a team, I definitely would want him to be the front runner for HC.
    • But it's not about not upsetting a player under contract, it's about not causing a rift in the locker room. The players love Bryce, whether as a person or a player doesn't matter.  You can't spend a Top 10 pick on a QB and then still start your #1 overall pick in the last year of their contract. That act alone will cause a massive locker room rift/distraction that would be unavoidable.  Some players will question why you "wasted" a Top 10 pick on a QB you're not going to start instead of someone who can help right away.  While others will question why we are keeping Bryce around for the season when it's clear he's not the future guy at that point. It would just make for a bad start to the rookie's career while causing locker room distractions.  Again, I'd bet this has never happened in this league before with any 1st round QB, let alone the #1 overall pick, and there is a reason for it, which is that it would be epically stupid to do. And I used the Vikings as the example as they're the closest I can think of, because again, there isn't a direct comparison as nobody has ever done it because it's that dumb of an idea (no offense lol).
