ESPN just talked about this, and said he needed to do his job in the nfl, mocking him only getting 3 sacks, and being ranked the 34th out of DEs in the nfl.

Well thanks to Hardy giving ESPN talking points...the NFL crew just laughed at me like the villains on Austin powers. Then they laughed about his 50 sack claim.....just another reason for ESPN to laugh at us

with that said.. I don't see carolina re-signing hardy.. not because he's not a good player.. I think its gonna boil down to the $

While I like Hardy's personality, they are right.  In 4 games, Hardy has 3 sacks, and all 3 came against the first or second worst team in the NFL.  The guy isn't the best at his position at his team, let alone the NFL.  You can't call out someone who's going to go down as one of the greatest players of all time in the their sport, let alone position.  

 

 

I hope we don't pay Hardy on potential.  This is a contract year for him, and he should be lighting it up.  If he's truly asking for CJ money like some have suggested, I have no problem letting him walk.

I don't think that Hardy will be resigned either. He's been Rosenhaused...If he signs great, if he doesn't

look like he's going to sign then we should try to trade him and get something for him.

Panthers' defense would be better with Hardy, but would still be a top ten line without him.
