Steve Smith is a family man and husband.  He takes his role seriously there and no one has the right to insult or belittle that.  I take him at face value for the work he does off the field and he is following his heart and faith.  You don't have to like what he does on the field or his means.  I had to laugh immensely at the footage of him spinning away from Jenkins.  He looked like he was doing everything he could to keep his composure and not land that punch in his mouth on the field.  It looked like he was fighting a rabid hyena inside to not knock Jenkins out.  I commend him for that control because I would have landed a swift kick to his berries....

Look back over all the post game interviews you can recall where Smith had some squabble with an opposing player during the game - now look at this postgame footage and you can "see" the difference.

Smitty has been in many players heads on numerous occasions and there have been many cases of pushing/shoving/mouthing. I see something totally different about this one.

I have to believe there was a serious breach of the personal life "line in the sand" or Smitty is a nominee for an Emmy Award.
