almost, i am learning maturity more and more with this oh so riveting thread

I just wish you and Clutch would just get a room and get it over with.  This whole passive agressive behavior is just a front for the fact that you two just want to get down and dirty with each other.  Am I right?

LOL :ass:

dude stop with all the scientific research bs. the bottom line is that its dumb to celebrate a got damn first down in the NFL thats college level poo. players think its stupid and former coaches. it just doesnt belong. if you think getting back to the huddle, calling the next play, and reading the defense is less important thant that then i see why you want it. just leave the celebration for points not yards

What are the quotes from former players and coaches and do they speak for everyone?

Please provide links of this collective outrage by former players. I will look forward to it.

listen newb i probably already know this. i mean i do have way more post then you. yes we are 4-3 but we havent done nothing yet. the teams we face have a combined record of like 5-22 so how much is that really saying. i more concerned about being focused for this upcoming stretch to see what we are about. you think harbarugh or the hoodie is going to care about Cam's first down celebration i think not. they are more worried about seeing the superman celebration. grow up this is a mans game not a game of kids

Haha just because I don't have as many posts as you doesn't make me any less knowledgeable about all things panthers....I was at the first ever game in Ericsson stadium when I was 4 dude don't pull that playground bs on me because I've cared about this team and organization my entire life...I thought we were trying to encourage other fans to join our forum why would anybody want to when there opinion is made irrelevant due to the number of posts that's silly stuff haha another prime example of how ridiculous our fan base can be ladies and gentleman.....haha I and others like me will continue to hope helpless souls like yourself see the light and join the 21st century....

That doesn't make herm edwards the gatekeeper of what you can or shouldn't do in the nfl. Are you serious right now? I'm questioning you intelligence tbh.

    • Right but I'm not talking about other teams I'm talking about the Carolina Panthers who are heading into 8 consecutive years of losing seasons. We can argue about stats advanced metrics and expectations until we're blue in the face. Winning when the playoffs are on the line is a very key goal for any starting QB in the NFL. And not for nothing but let's keep it real here. We hung our hats on the Packers game in his rookie season after weeks of either poor or mediocre QB play. And now we're doing the same with his sophomore season albeit with a little larger sample size. But still picking and choosing what to judge just leads to an echo chamber on either side of the debate. We should all be able to meet at a consensus that competing passing the eye test and winning some games convincingly early in the season is realistically the goal for our #1 pick heading into year 3.
    • Y'all forgetting about Maz Mwansa.   He would be the fifth DE IF the cut Barno and DJ Johnson.  He would not cost us a roster spot--and that is the key. "Carolina’s pass rush is being reshaped under new outside linebackers coach AC Carter, and recent addition Patrick Jones II. While Mwansa won’t count against the active roster thanks to the IPP slot, his upside is significant. He’s been likened physically to Eagles pass rusher Nolan Smith Jr. and already shows flashes of edge-bending potential. Panthers Director of Player Personnel Cole Spencer summed it up: “Anytime you get a raw ball of clay like that, and the league affords a roster spot, it’s pretty cool.”
