Parking Advice for Atlanta Game

PantherGuy

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody, I'm going to the Atlanta game on Sunday, and I've never driven into uptown for a game before. I'm looking for suggestions on good places to park that aren't strictly Panthers lots. Thanks!

Edit: Let me clarify, fellas! I'm a big Panthers fan. I don't want to park in a lot with a bunch of dirty birds fans. Just don't want to park somewhere I'm not allowed to.

You obviously have never been to a home game before.

If you're attending with Falcons fans...I suggest somewhere off of West Blvd or near Johnson C. Smith.

I've been to a number of home games before. In recent years I took the Lynx into uptown. But now that I live near UNCC instead of South Park, I can't take the Lynx as easily because there are no Lynx stations near UNCC.

And I really worded my OP poorly.  :phew:

I'm coming from the UNCC area, so the north.

My apologies then. Id take 85 to freedom. Freedom to morehead. From there it's wherever you fancy. Believe me if you can't park somewhere they won't let you. I go up to cedar and turn left. You can go all the way up Morehead to mint. Only a million options.

Ok, cool. That helps.

I park at Scaleybark and take the Lynx. I have no idea why people do otherwise.

same.  thats the best way. cost you $2.

Ok, I may do that. I just looked up the driving distance to the Lynx from my place and it as bad as I thought. I prefer to take the Lynx if I can.

Here is a link from I-85 to the lot I use. It's a nice little walk but parking is 10 bucks, cheap as you will find it. It's a parking deck so no tailgating at your car. You can still catch plenty of tailgates on your walk to the game but this is definitely not a lot for your own tailgate. The route I posted in the google link is traffic free until you hit Graham.

Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
