We're both 26...and im not naive about this stuff

 

it sounds like you've had quite a bit of life experience, so that's good. i would recommend being careful if either of you have significant amounts of predictable life-altering experience ahead of you; university, or prepping for a career change, or something that could potentially completely change who you are as a person or what you believe

 

of course this only really applies if you're planning on getting married, having kids, or in some way gluing yourselves to one another to the point where a split would be a major problem.

In all seriousness, dude, hope it's the best for both of you. You don't even want to know how many times I thought I had it right... and I'm still not sure at 57 years old and 5 marriages later...lol...

 

I would have given up after 1.
