Don't look now...Tampa beating Seahawks

It's still early. The Seahawks have proven to be resilient.

can't wait to see them come back and take a narrow lead. Then while TB is about to win, Mike James fumbles at the 8 yard line and Seattle runs out the clock for the victory. Then Ron Riv..... I mean Shiano gets fired

It has been a fun game to watch. Bucs are pulling out all the stops. They are desperate, and Seattle has not matched their intensity.

Also, refs are calling it tight, so Seattle cannot play their normal "beat up and hold the WR all down the field" defense.

These refs are scrambling to "fix" this game. That drive was pathetic from an officiating standpoint. I never realized that because Wilson was "marketable" that his size would have the NFL go out of their way to protect him. That was the worst trio of calls I've ever seen grouped together at any level. Unbelievable the effort theyre putting in to protect him form being hit and embarassed.

    • when we drafted Bryce Young that team might have been more talented than the team we currently have ?  that was the whole reasoning behind morgagting  our immediate future to trade up to #1 overall for BY. our front offices & owners felt like hey guess what the time is now to srike while the iron is hot go hire an All Star coaching staff we were only a Qb away from taking that next step ..just saying
    • I just dont get the worry over losing a practice squad player that just went undrafted. Everyone just made their selections. The chances of a team wanting to sign him to an active roster after not selecting him is very low.  If that interested they would have taken him late to evaluate in person. As far as I can tell two qbs were signed off another teams practice squad last season and they were both going in to their 5th season.
    • I enjoyed reading this thread and the usual banter that follows. The only silver lining I can identify right now is we do actually have a couple of young QB's behind him and we do have a nice roster on both sides of the ball built around the most important position. So if the team overall shows some promise but we still falter largely due to a lack of consistent passing output (again) hopefully the decision makers can be free to make the best decision for the team going forward after the conclusion of this upcoming season.
