Damn, dude, I pull out an alternative 90s hit reference and slander your team with it and all you can come back with is "pussy cats?" You ain't cut out for this trash talking business, son, might as well waddle on back to the Left Coast and not let on to your intellectual cohorts that those mean country boys in Carolina are astutely well-versed in the art of slapping down wannabe shittalkers.

Lol oh was that suppose to be a slander? Sorry I didnt take it that way... yea I'll be sure to let them know about your incredible football IQ u know how coach A is better with a 18-22 record than coach B with a 30-10 record... and your hilarious alternative 90's hit references lol

I don't know if the 49ers fans didn't get the memo that 2 biggest issues with the Panthers come'n into the season were WR and Secondary.(Per the media) No talent... not marketable players that no one knows.

All the sudden, there's a secondary on this team (tied for 3rd in the league for INT's) that's not just making plays due to the pressure from the front 7. (which by some 49ers fans accounts say the Panthers have no Pass Rush with LOL)

Adding Ginn, who seems to be the laughing stock of the SF fan base. (who someone said that the reason he couldn't play in SF is cuz Kap threw the ball to hard, and he couldn't catch it) Being the 4th in Targets with only 1 drop, 32 targets, with 21 catches (15 less receptions than Steve Smith) and still only 20 yards from being the top receiver on the team? Yup, I can see why they might be a lil salty and not wanna talk about the fact that Ginn would'a helped then this season. Being that Cam can scan the field and choose his targets now, and not stare down Smitty all the time. (not to mention the fact that there's a Running game in Carolina, that's 8th, to SF's 1st.)

I have a feeling the 49ers might be looking past the Panthers towards the Saints. Which I am more than cool with.

Look ahead to them. Prep for them. I'll back that idea 110%. LOL

Harbaugh to Carolina wasn't going to happen so the discussion is really ridiculous.  Harbaugh was going to stay on the west coast and either take the San Fran job or stay at Stanford.  He was never coming east to Carolina so it really wasn't a choice.

As for who was a better choice, Harbaugh inherited a better team and had more experience as a head coach so he started off better.  Who will end up better in the long run is still to be decided.  Honestly Carolina is just now recovering from the roster gutting that Richardson did in 2010.  We finally have the talent to compete with other teams who are good.

Just to be clear

1) AS QB coach at Oakland sends Rich Gannon to the probowl and superbowl

2) As head coach at USD had 2 11-1 seasons

3) Took Stanford to an 11-1 record and a BCS bowl

4) Took a 6-10 Niners team and sent them to the Championship in year 1 and Superbowl in year 2

5) Currently 6-2

Yes. Terrible coach.

Few are saying he is a terrible coach, some are just saying his success was not that surprising given the talent he inherited to begin with.  It reminds me of Seifert in San Francisco.  He inherited talent as a great team so people thought he was all that great. When he came here, he showed it wasn't him.  I wonder if he went to Jacksonville next year would Harbaugh have them in the championship in 1 year.

1. I never said he was a "terrible" coach. I said he was overrated.

2. Accomplishments before arriving to the NFL are meaningless, you don't get to this level without making yourself look good at the lower levels. Why do you think Nick Saban ended up in the NFL (and promptly hightailed it back to the college level when his Schiano-esque shtick got old?)

3. Let's see how Jimmeh responds with some actual adversity before anointing him, eh? He only inherited one of the league's most underutilized rosters, after all.

Exactly. Harbaugh's done some very good things, but he's also made some profoundly stupid mistakes. He had clearly superior talent in the Super Bowl and let his brother completely out-scheme him, failed to play to his own strengths, and the goal line decisions at the end still have me shaking my head.

A great coach is someone like Belichick, evil overlord that he is, who can continually reinvent his offensive system year after year. Harbaugh has a standard power running game with a cribbed read option offense to shake things up.
