A few key plays

Happy Panther

1) One that will get overlooked is Luke's one on one coverage on the deep play. Looked like a sure catch that could have been the ballgame and Luke get's his hand in there and knocks it away. Great play.

2) The incomplete fumble. I guess I'm a homer but he had control, two feet down, made a football move etc... shouldn't that have been a fumble?

3) Stewart's fumble. Nothing much to note as the RB core did well all around and it didn't hurt us. BUT Stewart has fumbled at around twice the rate as Williams over his career. Stewart is now getting the bulk of carries and he will have to hold onto the ball if we make a playoff run.

4) Gano's 53 yarder. Had his first miss this year but this guy is still clutch from long range now 5-5 from over 50. Don't be surprised if he gets a shot at a 60 yarder this year. Probably could make one from 70.

I have been watching football thoroughly for almost 2 decades and I have never seen a worse call then the incomplete/fumble call.

Maybe the fail Mary just because of the implications, but good god that was absolutely terrible. A travesty of officiating.

Another one that was big IMO....the Tolbert smearing of Reid.

That kind of hit/power, scares guys, I don't care what they say.

That hit was amazing and Tolbert was very classy checking on him after.

He literally ktfo'd that guy.

Also my dad and I both (he's a skins fan) thought that was a catch and fumble.  Horrible call.

    • The new (released today) FOX ONE app will allow you access to watch your Local FOX Station - similar to how the Paramount Plus app allows you access to watch your local CBS station It'll cost you $20/month for the privilege, but if you're having trouble accessing the over-the-air antenna for FOX, this could be an option to consider the new ESPN app will give you access to ESPN content, but not to the local ABC affiliate. A reminder: if you currently get ESPN via some TV provider (cable, satellite, youtube, etc) then you should be able to use the new ESPN app via your provider login, no additional payment required
    • Not even close!!! BURNS was a one trick pony who had a big game or two a year in the sack collum and was invinsible the rest of the time....   Heck hes gonna be the Giants fourth best rusher this year.
    • XL went to one of the worst teams in the NFL.  One that features a weak passing O and bad overall QB play on the season.   XL is getting way too much hate IMO.   He had an okay rookie season all things considered.   Very much on par w/ prospects that projected around the same area with him.   Panthers made a 2nd rounder a first round technicality for that contract.  XL also getting this weird kicker type blame for games.  XL somehow single handedly lost us games on one play.....and then we ignore the rest of the team that went about losing the game for 4 quarters.   Should he of caught the Philly ball? 100%.  The O and D still played like garbage that entire game.  Even after the drop, Panthers had two shots starting w/ a 3rd and 4 to convert.  They kept playing bad instead.  And even if we XL made the play....Philly would have had a minute and half to get into FG range to win it.  Who is banking on the Panther D getting that stop?  also, I am deemed Mr. Negative, yet here I am defending a no good dirty Gamecock lol
