Steve Smith milestone watch

With 98 yards Monday night Steve Smith will become just the 22nd player in NFL history with 12,000 career receiving yards. It would be awesome for him to reach that Milestone at home on Monday night football instead of against Miami on the road.

I'm starting to get the feeling this game is gonna play out like our last Monday Night home game. Over 100 yards receiving for Smith and close to 300 on the ground.

The Card game has perplexed a number of folks that watched it.  We went in at half time with 3 to 1 Time of Possession.  We came out after half and every one was out of gas is a good way to look at it I guess.  I called that game a Reality Check.  They knew they had it won to bad the Cards didn't!!

if they are using Talib to track Smitty, might indicate they are playing a lot of man coverage, and we know we fugz people up trying to play man too much.  teams who turn their backs on Cam, they pay for it.  They may try to use fat Spikes as a spy but I think Cam will get by him when needed.

smitty put up 69 against a rock solid san francisco defense last week... and that's after dropping that deep 30-yarder that would've put him up over 100.

 

if he can mirror that performance (minus the drop) this week he could finally make it happen. it's been a long time coming.
