Thumbs Up to Smitty, GREAT going on 12k in some very elite company now, but wait you been ELITE since you been here in one way or another!!!

The Card game has perplexed a number of folks that watched it.  We went in at half time with 3 to 1 Time of Possession.  We came out after half and every one was out of gas is a good way to look at it I guess.  I called that game a Reality Check.  They knew they had it won to bad the Cards didn't!!

GOOOOOOOOOO Panthers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that would be so awesome. he's gonna have a hell of a challenge with talib on the field

if they are using Talib to track Smitty, might indicate they are playing a lot of man coverage, and we know we fugz people up trying to play man too much.  teams who turn their backs on Cam, they pay for it.  They may try to use fat Spikes as a spy but I think Cam will get by him when needed.

smitty put up 69 against a rock solid san francisco defense last week... and that's after dropping that deep 30-yarder that would've put him up over 100.

if he can mirror that performance (minus the drop) this week he could finally make it happen. it's been a long time coming.

    • In year 1 and 2? Yes. There is no real speed on this team offensively. Not saying anyone is slow. But they're more "fast enough" than actually fast. Plus 3 of the last 5 OROYs have been WRs. They were all 1st rounders. Remember who was neck and neck with TMac for OROY last season? Egbuka. He was WR3 for the Bucs.
    • Yes.  Need increases the appeal, as does depth of talent at the position.  If you need a QB and there is a G who rates much higher, you are not taking G, for example.  I also think you must consider the cap.  If I can keep my QB on a rookie contract (since the position is not factored in) when the average QB in the NFL earns $35m (guess), as opposed to the average guard ($10m or so) I get more cap room--and the upgrades to those players must factor into the decision.  It is easy to say "BPA" if you are wearing blinders, but if get a QB on a rookie deal and a guard and tight end in free agency....it makes no difference if the Guard is predicted to be a hall of famer--you take the Qb.  (these are just examples)
