Can it be Sunday already? Who should we root for?

Saints - Falcons: Falcons for obvious reasons.

Panthers - Dolphins: Obvious answer is obvious.

Steelers - Browns: Doesn't matter, but I'll go Browns just because fug the Steelers.

Bucs - Lions: Lions to help them establish a lead in the NFC North.

Vikings - Packers: Vikings to keep Packers out of Wild Card race.

Chargers - Chiefs: Doesn't matter, but I'll go Chargers because Rivers went to NC State.

Bears - Rams: Rams to keep Bears out of Wild Card race.

Jets - Ravens: Jets to increase our SOS.

Jaguars - Texans: Doesn't matter.

Titans - Raiders: Doesn't matter.

Colts - Cardinals: Colts to keep the Cardinals out of Wild Card race.

Cowboys - Giants: Giants to increase SOS and because I hate the Cowboys.

Broncos - Patriots: I hate the Patriots but a win for them increases our SOS.

49ers - Redskins: Redskins to keep 49ers out of Wild Card race.

Do you agree?

Not really. You don't want the wildcard pool to get bigger. The teams that are at the top need to stay at the top.

If your want a list based on Home field advantage or division title it's really short:

-Root for the panthers to win out

Any time a team in the WC hunt takes a loss to a team not in the WC hunt it's a good thing. No mistake in that.

I agree with RoaringRiot pull for the Bucs over the Lions this will also help our SOS.

I'd also add the 49ers over the Redskins. We beat the 9ers head to head and keeping them ahead of the Cards is more important. Also goes to help our SOS.

Vikings win will also help our SOS. Looks solid overall though.

Your logic behind your 49ers pick makes zero sense to me. It doesn't matter if their record is better than the cards as long as our record is ahead of both of theirs. A loss for the 49ers is good and a win doesn't help at all.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
    • Burns at 5-6 seems....a little aggressive.
