Tolbert injury

On the play Tolbert was injured, you'll notice he fell into Lafell's leg at an awkward angle, looked like he could have injured Lafell's knee with the way he went into it.  They were both hobbling after that play, I hope they are both good to go.  We can't relax, we're getting a Bucs team next week that seems to be getting their act together.

Why all the Stewart love, I haven't seen ish from him. We need Tolbert and the lack of touches in the first half was a lot of the problem with the first half.

Cause he's working his way back in and D.Will gets majority of the carries?

There's no argument he's better at the read option, better catcher, and better N/S runner. Only thing D.Will is good for is breaking off a random long run. And it's RANDOM. But he's NOT a 1st down getter at all. I called in the game-thread to take him out. We did, Tolbert found success. But look at the stats of today period

Without him and Cam I don't have much hope for the running game. Just been fug ugly lately. Is the Oline to blame or the backs?

Both...

They would probably have more success running 100% out of the dreaded read option. OL creates zero holes in power run calls

It's painfully obvious that:

1. Williams and possibly Stewart should be axed minutes after the last whistle sounds for our season.

2. RB is a major need for this team.

Fix our OL.....and lesser RBs than them can run better than they are now

    • Frank got a dude forced on him who couldn't do NFL basics.   And we know factually, NFL coaches often are made to do things.  We know often they don't get there way.  That's called having a job and a boss.    Those aren't excuses.  People make up this mythical NFL world.  Canales LITERALLY ended Bryce's Young's career here 2 games into the Canales era.  That is the reality.  Then there was that miracle climb out of the grave stupidity that Dan Morgan allowed by not solving the issue like the entire sports world was debating (where would he be traded to and for how much).   The "benching to fix him" narrative is comical PR.  Every year it's the same poo.  Obvious problems are obvious.  But we do all these mental gymnastics to pretend the obvious isn't the obvious.  It's well documented.  The problem was Matt Rhule.  Majority of the board spent years spinning it elsewhere.  Then the obvious problem was Fitterer.  Repeat.  Board spent years spinning it elsehwere and deflecting.  Obvious problem right now is Bryce Young and the front office that refuses to admit they made one of the worst moves in the history of the NFL.  Because when it is finally said and done.....THAT will be a fact.   And that fact, will be attached to resume of a lot of people presently employed in the front office of BOA.  The main problem is not Canales.  And I don't blame him for not trying to win every game he possibly can as ugly as possible in spite of Bryce Young.  That carries too high of odds of keeping the main problem the main problem....and screws Canales in the end.   Canales will be fired next season if he can't get this group to move off Bryce Young.  That's the easiest thing to see.
    • The squandering of a genuinely good haul of draft picks was abysmal.  Scott Fitterer.
