everyone takes a week off before the Superbowl. They'd better learn how to come out strong after a break.

Our GM has more experience on that front than a lot of our coaching staff and pretty much all of our players.

I'll always take a bye in the playoffs.  It's tough to lose to bye week. Plus, you're guaranteed home field advantage in the next round.  That's a win-win situation.  A sample size of 3 is just too small to draw much of a conclusion off of.

First round bye and at least one home game hands down considering bye the time the playoffs are here we would have played 12 straight games with no breaks including 2 short weeks(MNF, and the thursday game)...would give any bang up players and extra week to heal and give us a home game in Carolina and depending on how the probable #1 seed fares the possibility of a home NFC championship game

"This Team" is not to a point where we can take anything for granted. Let's keep winning and growing. Build that confindence, and learn to bury teams. Once we get to be perennial playoff players, then we can worry about seeding. Until then, let's just keep getting better.

I understand people's concern, but a freebie week during a 3 week playoff is way too valuable to pass up. I trust this team to stay confident and on edge during it. Not to mention the homefield.
