He really deserves it, for more than just stats.

NFC Defensive Player of the Month: Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis, who had 35 tackles, one interception, one sack and one forced fumble as the Panthers went 4-0 during November.

Now he needs a ring! Let's get it!

CHARLOTTE – Linebacker Thomas Davis has been named NFC Defensive Player of the Month after Carolina's first undefeated November in franchise history.

Davis shined in Week 11 against the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football, recording a game-high 17 tackles and setting a new single-game high for the Panthers. The 17 tackles were a career high for Davis and the third most in the NFL during a single game in November.

Congrats to him! Extremely proud I adopted him as Panther player for this year!

screw kellen winslow. thomas davis is the frikkin warrior. i mean coming back right after having your finger so dislocated it breaks the skin and have it reset and stitched back up so you can play?

good to see he's getting some recognition. one of the big reasons i hope this team gets in the playoffs and does well is so that more people can know just how much this guy has overcome.

Right, that's really huge and he gets no cred. I'm sure he isn't too overly concerned, but that isn't the point. He should be recognized.

Outside of 89, I have never been more attached to a player than I am with TD.  This man is the true embodiment of what it means to be a Panther.  Davis has given everything to this organization.  He sacrificed his contract just to be here(albeit necessary).  I could not be any more proud of Thomas and to see him thrive on the field is just absolutely remarkable to see.   To those of you who have just recently become fans, watch 58 as much as you can.  He is a rare athlete that doesn't come along very often.

Congrats Thomas!  We love ya man!

    • In general, It's just unfortunate that he got hurt. But...I'd argue that all's well that ends well; the Panthers are in a better place in regards to the RB room, and, not only has CMC had the opportunity to almost win his team a championship in overtime of the Super Bowl, he's playing for a franchise known for solidity if not historical excellence.
    • Ummm not sure adding anther 5'9 180 pound soaking wet forward is the way to go here.....
    • What has happened in HS athletics busted full force into the college world with this NIL/transfer portal stuff. HS sports has been jacked up for a long time now. You have all these "prep schools" that are basically just diploma mills for athletes who hoover up all the good athletes they can get and they're all on scholarship. Then they go out and recruit decent athletes with rich parents to come onboard and pay outrageous tuition while they tout their success at getting their athletes college scholarships. Yeah, those athletes getting college scholarships are the same ones you're giving scholarships to so that you can use them to recruit the rich kids whose parents can pay for it all. You see the same thing in youth travel ball leagues. The whole thing is just getting crazy.
