Kickoff Returns...

Am I the only that loves Ginn as a punt returner and WR, but think he leaves a lot left to be desired as a kickoff returner.

I really think Barner could be given a shot again as KR, but I do share the concern about fumbling possibility, but Ginn has those concerns too.

Also, I think it would help reduce the risk of injury to Ginn, KR is a high risk job, and I would hate for him to go down on it.  He is too vital to our offense now.

Yes, I know we are 9-3 and have won 8 in a row, but we can always get better and kickoff field position hasn't been great.

Not much blocking out there

That could be the issue, but i feel like we have decent blocking for Ginn on PRs.

I dunno, its hard to really tell about the blocking without the All-22.

But again, the injury risk on they play was part of the concern too.

If Barner is going to be active, use him.

Agree with teh above posters that the blocking has worsened the last few weeks.  Not sure how or why, though injuries to Hartsock and Blackburn may be playing an issue, but I still think Ginn is our best returner option at this point... give the guy a seam and he's gone.  Just have to get the seam.

    • He’s also 21 years old. I don’t know why fiz is so eager to label him a bust
    • It’s wild to me that so many of you guys are threatened by the idea of an opposing team fan who is polite in 2025. He’s been posting here on and off for years, usually when our teams play each other which hasn’t been for a while. I’d maybe understand this treatment if it was a falcons or saints fan, but packers fans in general are one of the nicer fan bases as long as you aren’t another NFC north team (especially the bears).
    • Some players excel on the big stage, while others freeze and succumb to the pressure. I’m not convinced Cam took a dive. I think he didn’t handle the stage very well. The pressure got to him and he folded. He wouldn’t be the first quarterback or player to struggle in a Super Bowl. Two HOF examples - John Elway and Jim Kelly. The 2002 MVP, Rich Gannon, threw 5 interceptions against the Bucs. Poor performances happen.  Unless of course you believe all these players threw the games they played in, but if that occurred, surely someone by now would have admitted taking a dive? 🤷‍♂️
