I would think twice before I put the Saints down as an automatic W

I didn't see anything last week that screamed "Panthers win in Carolina by a field goal".

Someone remind Ron to play with the same nuts he has the rest of the time and we *might* have a chance.

We've got a chance rather he does or not. The Saints are on the road, in Carolina, where this team is 6-1. The odds are definitely in our favor. Gonna be a tough game regardless as both teams have so much riding on this, but i MUCH rather be the Panthers in this situation than the Taints. The Taints are also a COMPLETELY different team on the road than they are when they play in their pisshole of a dome.

There are no automatic wins in the NFL.....................I think every veteran fan knows this.

Most people just want revenge on the Saints next week for that embarrassment and to see what possibility reside beyond a lower seed wildcard if we win next week.

To be honest I don't know what to think about any team these days..............

If we beat the Saints even the Atlanta game concerns me...............I mean any given Sunday you know?

Too many people are doing that today. It was the apocalypse here last week after the Saints loss, now it's suddenly like we're dancing with the Backstreet Boys in Heaven tonight. Yes the Saints suck ass on the road, but the exact same players that kicked our asses on national TV last week are the ones coming into Charlotte next week. We can beat them, but you're being foolish if you think the Saints are the Jets. I like the Panthers next week, but by no more than a field goal.

I cannot believe that nobody on the Huddle has not heard the decree from all the commentators, talking heads, NFL  gurus, pundits, analyst or just about anybody with a mic and a mouth? According to them, it does not matter who wins the the NFC North, South, East or even the West for that matter, the NFC Championship has already been determined. Seattle has it all sewn up, everything else is just a formality. The game in New York today was just a "dress rehearsal" for the Seahawks. I think  many of the Seattle players believe it's a forgone conclusion also.

I hope Smitty was channeling his best Nostradamus after the week one loss to Seattle, when he said that we would see the Seahawks again this season, "deep into the playoffs".

Seattle has a great team, but they are far from unbeatable.....

    • lol, that second part is quite literally one of the dumbest things ever. Having or not having guaranteed contracts has absolutely nothing to do with how much these billionaires have to pay.  Because there is a hard cap and a minimum cap spend requirement, and teams either use their cap or roll it over to use it all the next year, so the owners have to pay the same amount of money in the end no matter what. Having fully guaranteed contracts in the NFL would only hurt salary cap management, and thus would end up screwing over the team and its fan base when teams kiss on signings as they take up cap room that is needed to improve the roster. Look at the Browns with Watson, they gave him the fully guaranteed deal and all it’s doing is sucking up massive cap space now.  If they hadn’t done that, the owner would still be paying the same amount of money each year as that cap space would still be used elsewhere. If you want to argue for fully guaranteed contracts because the players deserve it, that’s an entirely different argument and a fair one to discuss.  But anyone against fully guaranteed deals isn’t doing it to argue for the billionaire owners.

    • Ryabkin could be the steal of the draft, he was a Top 10 pick heading into last season and had a rough year.  Lots of GMs passed on him because of that and his workouts. Pick has really high upside and Svech should be able to translate Rod tearing his arse a new one for making dumb plays since Svech has had several years of it.  🤣😂
