Division winners or out of the playoffs... post your emotional state

I mentioned this in another post was well............but what makes me think of how crazy the whole NFL is today could be the long term result of both free agency and the salary cap as an attempt to create parody within the NFL markets..........

It seems to be working..............as you don't really know who could win on any given week and a run deep in the playoffs one year is not a guarantee it will happen the next.

Yes some organizations still are pretty consistent but the days of the dynasties like Packer's 60's   Steelers 70's   SanFran 80's   Dallas 90's and Patriots 00's will probably never be repeated.............its good and its bad but the result is what you see with the insanity going on with the end of the season.

Fun by nerve racking........

I don't know, Panthers could be on to something with the incredibly young core of superstar players on the roster.

I wouldn't be upset.  No matter how these next two weeks play out.

We started off 1-3..  I was expecting more of the same.   Tanking the first half,  strong second half.            Having a double digit winning season for the first time in 5 years...........  has me giddy..  way above my initial expectations.                       What we do and how we finish the season,  playoffs or not,  I'm still proud of our team.

Either we make the playoffs, or Rivera is gone.

That was the deal. If we dont make it in its a CHOKE. Just like all of those close games that we couldnt finish, but this time its the season we couldnt finish

That said, were going to win the division and be 12-4

I don't think that scenario is a lock anymore.

Agreed... From 1-3 to 10 wins is probably more than enough, but we aren't done yet. Couple that with a patched O-line and badly in need of a new #1 and I can't imagine Gettleman punching the reset button on the HC job.

    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
    • In fairness, she is ensuring she is talked about.  People really aren’t going out there way to bring her up.  It’s some weird poo.  She would end up getting talked about given her actions if she was 40. Bill realizing some of these high end “companions” got a game of their own.  That’s what I don’t think Bill saw coming.
