What's the point of Kenjon Barner?

Barner is a late round pick rookie? Why are people calling hin out yet? I just don`t get it!

Because folks like Zod gassed people heads up. Proclaiming that he should be the starter after gaining 7 yards on one carry in a preseason game that Deangelo only had 2 carries in. He had way too much hype and unrealistic expectations for a 6th round pick who had accomplished and fully capable Vets in front of him. The way people are overreacting to his minimal game action is the way Zod overreacted to 1 damn preseason game. I find that funny as hell. He doesnt need to put on a bunch of weight or any of that. 8 pounds of muscle would be enough. Not friggin 20!!! All that young man need is reps and experience. He has a place in this league. He has to just wait his turn and come back better physically next training camp. That is all he needs. He is a damn rookie. Give him a chance to grow....

lol....Williams has been a fairly average RB this year and projecting him not to have tons of success against an elite run D is just applying logic and common sense.

He was supposed to be a Derrick Sproles type, same weight, only a few inches taller.

 

So far he's looking like a rookie, not necessarily surprising.

he just need to put on weight. he's the same height as Dwill and current listed at 190lbs. Dwill is listed at 215.

 

barner is a project that needs to get a nfl body before he can produce

There really isn't much of a learning curve making the jump from college to NFL at the RB position. Should be remembered.

Sample size is entirely too small to formulate an opinion though.
