Sometimes I wonder why some Qbs get a pass from the media

With what is happening to RG3 this season, it could have been easily been Cam going through that if he didn't humbled himself and feed the trolls that is the media.

They were trying so hard to prosecute Cam but he didn't give in.

But yet Qbs like Sam Bradford keep getting a pass from the media, yes he plays in a small market but so does Cam but why do they pick on everything Cam does. If not for a winning season Cam will be going through what Rg3 is going through..they tried doing that Kapernick earlier in the year but he picked up wins and then it stopped.

The media likes to pick winners and losers. Then they don't want to admit when they are wrong. Finally they give in, but always bring up the BS they created in the first place.

This ^

Most talking heads are completely full of themselves so when wrong they just chang the narrative.

And the sportscenters of the world get their talking points from the talking heads.

I mean lets get to the real issue, they have spent 3 days talking about a team (cowfugers) that if they even made the playoffs they would be outin the first round.

Thats bullshit.

Because nobody cares about Sam Bradford. Cam moves the meter.

Who cares. Our QB is better than all these schlups. We are lucky.

We should care. The media is gearing towards a direction it knows is unacceptable but still ventures there whenever it can to get some ratings. I understand Cam, RG3 are mega superstars while bradford et. al are nobodys but why not appreciate those superstars like the NBA does. Why do they need to tear them down while upholding guys like Luck and the likes. I don't get what they get from it. Superstars make the sports world go round and it will never change.

Stafford gets one of the biggest passes I've ever seen. He has freaking megatron yet he still hasn't done poo in the playoffs and has a losing record as a starter.

agree, but I watched that playoff game against the Saints. Stafford was unreal. He literally played the perfect game and threw for nearly 400 yards that saturday night in new orleans. There was just no defense.

The Detroit defense just isn't good enough for whatever reason. I don't think Stafford is the problem, as Cam never was either.

    • We agree here dawg. I'd love for Bryce to succeed as would all huddlers. I have not seen a single huddler hate Bryce for anything other than his play on the field / potential / skillset. He hasn't gotten any of the irrational hate having nothing to do with football that Cam got. And yeah I understood going into this season with Bryce again as there weren't a ton of options, but man we missed the fuging mark on upgrading at backup QB with someone who could actually push Bryce. Bryce had zero pressure on him with a 100% washed up Dalton being the only other NFL caliber QB in the system. That absolutely needs to change this offseason. Ideally with an actual starter upgrade but that seems extremely unlikely due to not having many FA options and a bad draft. But at the very least with someone like you mentioned, young/upside and/or day 3 pick in the draft.   Another note, we have a top paid and top performing OL, great young talent at WR incl. likely OROY, great RB group, average all around TE group, offensive coach with creativity in the system and good play designs (poor situational playcalling but still I put out current offensive coaching staff over Shula who held Cam back for instance). Not the absolute best situation for a QB to be in, but still a very good situation around him. And yet we have a bottom 8 offense (6th lowest points scored). Imagine taking a victory lap for a QB leading his team to the 6th lowest points scored in the league and the 22nd highest passer rating (despite being asked to do less than many other QBs; i.e. Bo Nix who isn't great either and has a slightly lower passer rating but Sean Payton actually lets him try to throw the ball deep and has him throw significantly more than Bryce). Crazy
    • similar to Atlanta and the NHL.  Atlanta has lost two NHL teams (and lost a minor leaguer).  Now there's another coalition pulling together another proposal for Atlanta to get an NHL expansion. While I'd like hockey to be back in Atlanta 'cause hockey is fun, I am skeptical that it'll happen based on previous teams' experience here alternatively: similar to Atlanta hosting a Major Tennis Tournament in advance of the US Open every mid/late summer.  Aside from the fact that Atlanta is said to be the country's largest Tennis playing city (with both USTA and ALTA, along with a number of side leagues) - playing tennis outdoors in Atlanta summer is miserable *and* they had difficulty attracting players... ticket sales were not good. So the Atlanta Open closed after 14 years.  They just couldn't make it happen, even if for all intents it appears to be massive tennis interest in the surrounding area.
    • So I saw where Luke was doing that show parallel to the game. Whatever it was, statcast something something, knew it would be a good watch. I don’t get ESPN any more but that would be one of the about few things I would watch outside of games.     He doesn’t fool around on the radio broadcast.
