What Saints Fans are Saying - Part Deux

Both Saints, and Panther fans have got to admit this game makes them a little nervous. Panthers had their worst performance of the the season in the dome 2 weeks ago! almost every great team suffers a blow out loss every season, and i guess we were due one. That was a big game for us, and we fell short when we needed a win for the sake of winning the division. But there really is no excuse! N.O. beat us pretty damn bad. And sometimes a defeat like that, as odd as it sounds can be a good thing. Because it should have humbled our team, and make them feel like they need to re-introduce themselves as the great team we have come to know and love. 2 weeks ago it looked like N.O. was gonna run away w/the division, and with the #2 seeding. And thanks to the Rams, we get another crack at taking over the division. Its so weird how the exact same scenario from 2 weeks ago is in play again. But we cannot allow the same outcome! And i find it hard to talk trash about a team that beat us so badly. you get beat 31-13 you really cant talk trash w/o looking a little silly. So Saints fans have that to hang over our heads for a few more days (and rightfully so)I still have that bitter taste in my mouth from that loss. Panther fans can be optimistic tho. And yes its been a long time since we have had a winning team...So we are a tad excited, and we should be! This is one of the best Panther teams i have seen put on the field! And the Saints, no matter where they play are capable of scoring in bunches. But i do expect a better performance from our boys. And this should be a closer game than last time. KEEP POUNDING!

It took 6 pages to find a post from a panthers fan that makes any sense.

Congrats on the good post.

Been there and heard that from Pats fans, Niners fans, etc. just like all of them, you will slink away with your tail between your legs after getting bitch slapped by the Panthers.... To never be heard from again.

See...we are 6-1 at home and winning by an avg of 19 points....which happens to be more than the Saints even score on the road,

And that one loss was 12-7 against the Hawks. You remember the Hawks, don't you. That team that beat your ass, kicked your dog, stole your girl, and fuged your mom all in the same night.

I will tell you right now.

If the Saints somehow lose this game Sunday(lol) I will be in here Sunday night.

I was going to start a new thread about this but I have been a member here for 5 years and im still not allowed to start a thread.

Whats up with that?

I signed up with this forum not to start controversy.

I actually signed up 5 years as the Panthers use to be my 2nd favorite team because Jake is my next door neighbor and I have been knowing him since high school.

Anyway this is not your time.

That will be shown Sunday.

And im so glad that all this "cant win on the road" non-sense is finally going to come to an end in 3 days.

There is not a more overused and false statement concerning this team that I have ever seen.

I guess someone on ESPN said it one day and it caught on like wildfire.

Nevermind the fact that the Saints are the best road team in the NFL since 2009.

Nevermind the fact that the Saints are the best road team in the NFL since 2009.

Nevermind the current Saints playing in 2013 are an unimpressive 3-4 on the road.  Nevermind Brees is 4-7 outdoors during 2013 and 2012.

Nevermind they are playing at Carolina where they are 6-1 at home. Winning by an average if 18 pts and there lone loss a 12-7 loss to Seattle where they fumbled it away

Nevermind the 2013 Saints are vastly and unarguably different outdoors this year vs what they do in the Superdome.

Yes, keep talking about what they did dating back against Fox/Delhomme and a host of other teams that don't exist now.

Oh, and nevermind the fact Brees/Payton historically have owned all division teams but one.....

The Saints stats and performance this season says otherwise.....

Your three road wins include a 2 pt win at TB and a 3 pt win at Atlanta.....two of the WORST teams in the league.

Not to mention that you lost to the lowly fuging Jets hen Geno threw for only just over 100 yards.

Keep telling yourself that your team is even average outside the dome....but you are dillusional.

got a lil over 100 yards on only 8 completed passes too....the Jets beat the saints and only completed 8 passes all game

And the Panthers are the best home team since Week 3 of 2013. Arbitrary and meaningless cutoff dates are arbitrary and meaningless. What is relevant about the Saints is that they are 3-4 on the road in THIS SEASON, the one actually being played. They are a worse road team. That's undeniable fact. We'll see how it shakes out, but this isn't some made up narrative, your team blows donkey ******* when they get five yards outside the confines of their precious dome.

Good post.  Both good teams, we had the advantage in the Dome and now yall have HFA.  We have a great Road record going back the last several years but this year has been different.  We ARE a different team on the road.  We are a rhythm based offense that does not score as often on the road.  I would like to see us pick up the pace and go no huddle more often instead of all the subbing.  Anything can happen and i would love to sweep the Panties this year.  Win or lose i will be back on Monday (dont post on the weekends).

Panthers Saints are 19-18 historically (something like that).  So we have a damn good rivalry regardless how the teams are doing otherwise.  Saints could be 8-0 and Panties 0-8 and it will still be a good tough game.  Thats just how we roll.  Like i said above this year HAS been different on the road.  We do not score as many points for whatever reason but I look for us to have our best road game this year on SUnday.  Number 1... We are very familiar with the Panties and we just played yall 2 weeks ago (even though yall played slop)   Number 2...  we lost last week in a horrible showing and will not drop 2 in a row   Number 3  2nd seed is on the line and we will be playing lights out because we, like you know how much HFA means to the Saints in the playoffs.

Actually the Saints have a combined losing road record for the past 3 years at 11-12.  5-3 in 2011, 3-5 in 2012 and so far 3-4 in 2013 soon to be 3-5 again.  What skews it positively is 2009 where they went 7-1 and 6-2 in 2010.  However since 2010 they have not been good on the road.

The Canjun Goons that call themselves Saints fans willfully set a noise level record when we last played them in the cesspool called New Orleans

In my mind  I can still see their freaky DC Rob Ryan on the side lines with his long, stringy and greasy hair, continually lifting his arms to urge the moron crayfish eaters to make more noise.

There is another thread on the forum  asking  us fans to be loud but for the Panther fans  that haven't read it (even ones that have),I urge you to make noise Sunday like never before in your life. This is our chance as fans to really help our team
