Eureka! I figured out what is wrong with Lafell

I've been watching Lafell for about 4 years now and almost in every game he has a key drop. Then I started asking myself, what is keeping a big 6'2 tall WR with all the measurable, who is been in the same system for 4 years, from achieving consistency. Then, I got this number: 8 3/4. What is this number? That's Lafell's hand size. For a guy his size, his hand size should be around 9 1/2 on the small side for an athlete. What is Dez Bryant's hand size, for example? 9 3/4. Notice the difference in performance? So, what you have here is a big dude with tiny little hands trying to catch a big ass football. In short, the odds are against him from ever becoming a respectable WR. Serviceable? Yes.

dez drops half the balls thrown to him, and has fumbling issues

he may have big hands but they are soaked in butter

Everybody drop balls in the NFL. Even Calvin Johnson. But, those franchise WRs have go-get-it ability to put up 150 any given sunday. It's a great day when Lafell gives you 65 yards.

Compare smith at 4 years in the league to lafell.

All im saying is hand size may help but its not there determining factor in drops.

Why would I compare a decent 2 to arguably the best WR in the game? Of course 89 is gonna blow him out of the water.....that doesn't make LaFell bad

    • Oh I was.  But we still had great players.
    • You keep AT unless he WANTS to get traded to a contender during the season.  He's valuable, TET, XL, and Coker need to learn how to be PROFESSIONALS on game day, practice, and the off-season.  That's what you get from AT.  ADDITIONALLY, he is clutch.  He is steady.  At is that savvy vet who will always flash. I really think they keep 7 WR's if Brycen can operate on special teams.  Week 1 you may see us heavy on WR and OL because of the massive amount of injuries across the league.  Renfrow may even be cool starting on the PS since he lives close and wouldn't need to uproot his family.  You can still make nearly 400K as a vested veteran on an NFL practice squad.  You see more veterans hanging around since the age limit was lifted. I think the 1st 53 and PS looks like so...... Offense: (25) QB (2) Young / Dalton RB (3) Chuba/Rico/Etienee WR (7) T-Mac/XL/AT/Coaker/Renfrow/JHjr/Brycen TE (3) Tremble/Sanders/Evans OL (10) Icky/Lewis/Corbett/Hunt/Moten/Brady/Mayes/Yosh/Zavala/Kingston Defense: (25) DL: (6) Brown/Robinson/Turk/Bobby B/Cam Jackson/Sam Roberts OLB: (5) Wonnom/PJ2/NicSic/Princely/Incoon ILB: (5) Rozeboom/TW/Windmon/Cherelus/Bam CB: (5) Horn/MJ/CSW/Thorton/Evans S: (4) Tre'Mo/Ransom/Demani/Scott Specialists: (3) JJ/Fitz/Martin Last spot: Right now I have it as a toss up between DJ Johnson and Bam.  Until NicSic can come back we need an extra edge.  Do we utilize TW more as a blitzer from the middle to keep Bam safe?  I'm not worried about DJJ getting picked up from another team, a little more concerned with Bam. Practice Squad: DavidMoore/JamesMitchell/JacolbyGeorge/Tuttle/Crumdley/Ray/DJJohnson/Kantra/Carter/Blacksheer/ Wright/KrysBarnes/MichaelReid/Safety pick up/RB pick up/QB pick up
