Lilsmitty's Season Ending Highlight Video

i feel if you haven't made a vid before- all you need to say is "Thanks for the 8 minutes of entertainment" then be on your way..

if you have made a vid and understand the time it takes, then you can give some small criticism because these aren't paid employees- these are fans that do this on their down time for other fans..

appreciate it and say thank you for the 2-4+ hours it took to compile the video footage from NFL.com (and watching the countless ads pop up) or their DVRs, then cut and splice the clips and then use their creative mind to pick and choose how they intertwine..

i know he asked for feedback but LilSmitty has probably been the most consistent vid maker on here. I - for one - appreciate him, because I know the time it takes. So I wouldn't ever pick his sh*t apart and say- i woulda done 'this' or 'that'..

I see potential. And when I see potential I describe how I see it.

If it was the other way around, I would welcome ideas from other members to levitate my video editing skills to the next level. Why is this not obvious?

I've made a few such videos and the time and effort it takes is enormous. Especially since nobody is getting paid for it, its all out of passion and love for the panthers. Been thinking about doing one and getting it finished before the playoff game, but don't know if i'll have the time. So great job man! Keep 'em coming!

you shouldn't have used 'strange fruit' in the first half vid. bad taste IMO. that is a song about lynching. awk-ward.

One of the more popular Cam highlight videos has a  song that says "This is something like the Holocaust, millions of our people lost." It's like ummm ok that just took me right out of the Cam highlight mood.

Cool vid as always man... Keep representing.. As a long tine fan of your videos, my only small criticism is to somehow make them in 720p HD quality.. I was only able to get the max of 480p which at many times during the video makes it look grainy.. That is all... Thanks for the hard work.. 8+ minutes DAMN!!! Thanks!

    • It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.
    • If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
    • He had heart surgery a while back he looks Fraile I hope he is okay
