I wish that actually contributed to anything meaningful for this franchise. Between The Leadership Council and Dave Canales confirming the bye week was a hindrance it's enough for complete apathy to set in for any fan. Too many highly paid players on this team for the lowly Saints with nothing to play for to look more motivated than our guys with the division and a playoff spot on the line for the first time in 8 years. -

Or what about the fact that Shaq has 4 missed tackles this season and a 7.4% missed tackle percentage versus the 16 and 14.2% that Rozebum is rocking? In fact, Shaq would have the lowest missed tackle percentage of any ILB that has a minimum of 1 start on our roster. -
The belief among insiders, beat writers, etc is pretty much universal that they'll pick up the option. As far as any sort of competition, wouldn't hold my breath
